Honest review of Galgotias University, Greater Noida.

Placements: The placement is good, over 60 percent. The average salary package offered is around 5LPA. Big companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Vodafone have entered the campus to provide placements. There are many training programs and workshops. The placement team is really supportive.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is provided to all students. The infrastructure is one of the largest. The building is divided into several blocks for different departments, like the cafeteria, labs, and courts. The mess food is hygienic, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There is also a common TV room, where students watch movies sometimes.

Faculty: All the faculty members are from NLUs and are very helpful. They have unique teaching methods like providing cases and then representing one side. The college is overall good for students who want to take any course. Here, studies are more practical than theoretical, which helps students understand cases in real life.

Other: There is an annual fest called Unifest, which is the biggest fest in Greater Noida. Many singers like Javed Ali have performed. There is also an art fest in the college.

Good campus experience with scope for more practical learning.

Placements: Around 70–80% of students get placed. The average package is around 5–5.4 LPA. The highest packages go above 40 LPA. University reports 60 LPA as the highest package in 2026. Major recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Wipro, Accenture, & Tech Mahindra.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is good. University has a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. Computer laboratories have the required software and internet facilities. University also has a large central library. It has more than 1.3 lakh books and around 30,000 e-books.

Faculty: Most teachers are helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They explain concepts clearly. They also help students with doubts. CSE curriculum provides a good foundation in programming & technologies such as AI and Machine Learning. Along with college studies, self learning, regular coding practice, & projects are important for developing practical skills. More industry based practical sessions would improve the course. More internship opportunities from the early years would also be helpful. In my experience, semester exams are moderately difficult. They are manageable with regular study.

Other: Overall, my experience at Galgotias University is good. The campus has a good environment. Students get many opportunities to participate in technical events, workshops, hackathons, sports, and other activities. The CSE course provides a good foundation in programming and new technologies like AI and Machine Learning. I feel students should also focus on self-learning, coding practice, and projects along with college studies. More industry-based practical sessions would make the overall experience even better. More internship opportunities from the early years would also help.

Infrastructure is unmatched at these fees.

Placements: Placements are average, like in most private colleges in India. Around 65–70 percent of students get placed every year in B.Tech. CSE. Companies do visit the campus. In fact, a huge number of companies visit, but there is a lot of competition for placements because both GCET and GU students take part in the placement process at GU.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is something Galgotias excels in. It has a well-equipped campus spanning over 50 acres. There are different labs from Wipro, Infosys, and HCL, and even an Apple iOS lab. There is a huge digital library with everything you need. Wi-Fi is great. The hostel is well-equipped with every facility you need. The food is great. There is a regular gym. You also get huge playgrounds and many games to play on campus.

Faculty: Professors are okay, I would say. Some are very good and have great knowledge of their subjects, while some just come to pass the time. Most of them are from reputed colleges and universities like IITs and other great institutions. The curriculum is up to date. Semester exams are a bit easy to pass, even if you study a week before, except for some subjects.

Other: University offers a great deal at this fee structure. Universities of the same stature charge over Rs. 20 lakhs for the same course. It is value for money. There is a good campus life, and events happen regularly. The crowd is okay.

Placements: Placements are good, with around 80% of students getting placed. The highest package is 32 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 4 to 5 LPA. Top companies, including Google, visit for recruitment, and the top roles offered are technical engineer positions. Around 50% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course are very good. All classrooms are high-tech. Wi-Fi is available in each classroom. The library is unique and consists of more than 8,000 science books. However, the mess food quality is not that good, although the environment is hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and help every student. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is completely relevant to industry requirements. Semester exams are not that tough, and you can easily clear them by preparing for two or three days. The passing percentage is 33%.

Good among private colleges, but placement opportunities can be improved.

Placements: Around 15 to 20% of students get placed every year. When I joined the college, the highest package was around 34 LPA, while the lowest was around 2 LPA. The average package is usually around 6 to 7 LPA. Many good companies, like Wipro, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, and JPMorgan, visit our college for placements every year. Around 15 to 20% of students get internships in this course. Companies like Tech Mahindra and JPMorgan also provide internship opportunities. Recently, two of my friends also got paid internships.

Infrastructure: One of the main reasons I chose this college was its excellent infrastructure. When I first visited the campus, I really liked the overall environment and facilities available here. The college has separate blocks for different departments, including AI and ML, along with good Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and smart classrooms. The campus looks quite modern, clean, and well-maintained, which makes the overall college experience better. Talking about the mess food, honestly, it is just okay. It is not really as good as we expected, and I feel there is definitely some scope for improvement. But when it comes to the hostel, facilities are decent.

Faculty: Faculty members have good knowledge of their subjects. However, honestly, I don't feel that most of them are very helpful. Sometimes, their way of talking can be a little rude, so students may not feel comfortable asking questions or sharing their problems with them. I also don't think the course is completely useful or relevant for students, as some subjects feel unnecessary and are not really connected to the skills or knowledge students may need in the future. Talking about the semester exams, they are not very difficult if you study properly, even if you prepare just two or three days beforehand.

Very good campus, infrastructure, and decent placements.

Placements: Around 80% of my ECE seniors get placed, while the rest choose higher studies. The highest package offered is 23 LPA. The average package is around 4.5 LPA to 6 LPA. Many companies visit for campus placement drives, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, L&T, etc. Placements are improving in Galgotias due to industry collaborations.

Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Hostel rooms are decent. Mess food is average but manageable. Sports facilities are also available on campus. Classes are air-conditioned. There are many cafes and shops on the campus.

Faculty: Most faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. Exams are moderate. Project work is encouraged, which adds practical value. Course curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented. All teachers are well-qualified and educated. Teaching quality is good.

Other: Good fests and hackathons happen regularly. It is worth joining, but it depends on the branch.
