The eligibility criteria for admission to Government Siddha Medical College, Chennai for Bachelor of Siddha Medicine & Surgery (BSMS) are:
1. C&idates must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, & Biology) from a recognised board.
2. C&idates must have passed the entrance exam conducted by the college or university.
3. C&idates must meet the physical fitness st&ards set by the college or university.
4. Admission will be done based on the NEET Score, reservation norms of Govt. of India & as per the regulations.
5. C&idates who have been made ineligible by AACCC, due to their non-reporting to previous rounds of counseling / any other reasons are not eligible to get admission to the BSMS programme conducted by this Institute.
6. C&idates should have studied Tamil as one of the subjects in 10th or 12th St&ard. C&idates who have not studied Tamil shall have to study Tamil as an additional subject during the First Professional B.S.M.S session for 18 months.
7. The c&idate should be a citizen of India (Not applicable to students from foreign countries).
