M.A. in Sanskrit - Batch of 2023

GJU Hisar M.A. in Sanskrit is definitely the best spot (honest review).
Placements: Getting a job directly from here after the M.A. course was not easy. Only 10 to 15% of students got a job. The highest salary package was 3.2 LPA. The lowest was 1.7 LPA. Most students got around 2.1 LPA. The companies that came mostly offered customer care or phone-calling jobs. We had to find internships on our own, as university did not provide any help. If you wanted a good career, you had to start preparing for teaching or government exams from the beginning.
Infrastructure: Our class building was very quiet. The Wi-Fi speed dropped sometimes. However, the AC library was the best place to study, and you could easily find all the books there. The hostel was cleaned properly. The mess food was just okay, but the canteen snacks were awesome. There was a huge ground for sports and a small clinic inside if someone fell sick.
Faculty: Our teachers were very knowledgeable and cleared all our doubts. Semester exams looked very easy if you gave them your full effort. If you attended classes regularly, you could easily get good marks with proper effort. Almost everyone passed, so there was not much fear of failing.
Other: I took admission here because I always liked learning old shlokas and languages. The whole campus was full of plants and trees, so it felt very nice. You could easily get an auto just outside the gate. Big fests or DJ parties did not happen often here. Students who filled out the form also got a government scholarship.

M.A. in Sanskrit - Batch of 2023

My honest feedback on GJU Hisar M.A. Sanskrit 2023.
Placements: The chances of getting a campus job for Sanskrit students were very low. Only 10 or 12 students were selected. The majority of students received about 1.5 LPA, with the highest salary package being 2–3 LPA and the lowest being 1 LPA. Small businesses arrived for simple jobs only. The college did not provide us with any connections, so we had to look for internships on our own.
Infrastructure: The rooms in the department were large and peaceful. The Wi-Fi was slow and disconnected sometimes, but the AC library was excellent, and it was easy to find books. The hostel rooms were maintained fairly clean. The food served was okay, but the canteen had great tea and samosas. There was a fairly big field for sports. A small hospital was right on the campus.
Faculty: Professors were incredibly experienced and answered all of our questions clearly. The teaching style was old, but it was not useful for private jobs. The semester exams were not hard at all. If students paid attention in class, they could pass easily. Almost every student passed with good grades.
Other: I took admission here because I liked reading old languages and old books. The syllabus needed to be updated a little to match the present time. The campus was very green. It was easy to get transport to travel to and from the city. Big college fests were rare, but small events kept happening. Students also got scholarships from the Haryana government.

In-depth analysis of the postgraduate Sanskrit program at Guru Jambheshwar University.
Placements: It was very difficult for literature students to get direct corporate employment through the university cell. Of our batch, just about 10% received offers. The minimum pay fell to 1.08 LPA. The maximum salary reached 4 LPA yearly. The majority settled at 2.5 LPA. The hiring efforts were dominated by companies that offered BPO or customer-handling positions. There was no internship support from the department. Many students had to look for trainee jobs on their own.
Infrastructure: The department halls were calm and spacious. The air-conditioned reading rooms were filled with wonderful old manuscripts, but internet access regularly broke. Dorms continued to be clean. Dining hall dinners were edible but tasted average. There were a lot of different types of sports fields.
Faculty: Teachers were very knowledgeable about their subjects and assisted students with their needs. Instead of emphasizing useful career skills, the training largely emphasized academic research. Only a basic review of the lecture materials was necessary to pass term exams if students gave their best. Almost everyone passed their exams without failing.
Other: Joining this master's degree was purely because of my fascination. University grounds were massive, filled with nature, and well connected to local transport. Major cultural festivals barely happened, but the peers were warm.

GJU Hisar M.A. Sanskrit, fees, placements, and campus reality.
Placements: I graduated from GJU Hisar. To be honest, we only had a 10–15% placement rate. The average package was about 2.5 LPA, the highest package was 4 LPA, and the lowest was 1.8 LPA. The majority of recruiters were mass hirers from local companies. About 20% of us used Internshala to find our own jobs. The college did not assist with internships. The majority of jobs on campus were in sales, customer service, or content writing.
Infrastructure: As an M.A. Sanskrit student, I found the classrooms spacious and peaceful. The AC library has a good selection of books. However, Wi-Fi is a little slow. Rooms in the hostel are kept tidy. The canteen is fantastic, though the mess food is below average according to me. Additionally, university has large sports facilities and a medical center.
Faculty: The instructors are very skilled and always willing to assist. Teaching is average, but it works. The curriculum is excellent for Ph.D. programs or teaching, but not for business positions. If you review the course notes, semester exams are rather simple. Pass rate is easily 90-95%.
Other: I chose this course because I enjoy ancient literature. I decided to pursue an M.A. in Sanskrit. Literature is good, but instruction needs to be updated. Campus life is relaxed. Large-scale festivals are uncommon, but cultural events do occur. The campus is green, the people are friendly, and there is good city connectivity. State scholarships are available.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

For representing my university to other students who are interested in taking admission in it.
Placements: Our campus placement is very good. Recently, the Infosys company visited our campus, and 150 students got placed in my branch. Students from other branches, mechanical and electrical students, also got placed. Many of our seniors are already working in many companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my campus is very nice. There is a large library in Haryana, and many books are present. Different branches have different buildings. There are 8 hostels 4 for girls and 4 for boys, with the best facilities. There are clean roads and greenery present everywhere.
Faculty: Faculty is good. They give classes on time, and every month a minor exam is conducted, and every six months a major exam and practical are held, and the results are good. Every different subject has a different experienced teacher in our course.

Affordable college. Dissatisfied with the curriculum, the faculty members, and low placement.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placements is low in my course. The highest package is 4 LPA, while the lowest is near 1.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and other similar companies. Internship mostly depends on yourself (offline). App developer, Software Engineer, and Data Analyst are the top roles.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average, with wooden benches and fans. While there is multiple college Wi-Fi networks available (average internet speed). The food quality of the hostel is quite low, while there are annual sports days in which games are played, but the enthusiasm is low.
Faculty: Few teachers are helpful and good knowledge while a few just pass the time, the teachers are not much supportive, it is on you what you have to do, they do not care about your marks and scores. The course curriculum is not very relevant in the first year. They will make you learn and study mechanical subjects like engineering drawing and workshop. Semester exams are not very difficult if you study by yourself, because the teachers might not complete their syllabus and you will have to do it yourself.
Other: I have high interest on computer and the programming, I have been studying about the programs from my class 11th, thus, I had interest in taking this course. I wish that this course in this college has more computer and programming-based subjects. While there are events and fests in the college, participation is optional, which means the class will happen even if you participate, which can affect your syllabus and lead to a backlog.
