B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029
2.8

Facilities are average, like infrastructure, campus life, crowd, teachers, and hostel.
Placements: The highest package from CSE is 6 LPA, and the average package is around 3 LPA. 5-10 students are generally placed till now (mid placement season). Most of the students try to find internships off campus by building their skills on their own, and mostly get their placements off campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library are good. There are all the facilities for a studious student who genuinely wants to study. But the hostel provided for B.Tech students is very bad. No space in the room, no separate almirah, table, chair, or even bed. The food is also very bad at this hostel.
Faculty: Some teachers are good and knowledgeable about their subject, but mostly do not teach properly. Students have to understand the topics on their own using the internet. The curriculum is also outdated, it won't help students in their placements. They have to study separately for it.
Other: There are not so many events conducted at the college level. The campus crowd is not that good. You will find few people serious about their studies.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the infrastructure. The faculty is supportive and caring.
Placements: No placements are available in my course at my college. But it gives placements in internships, which are very few. They are given to about 2-3 students in a full batch only, which is a very bad thing. I am absolutely dissatisfied with it, and it should give placements for jobs also.
Infrastructure: Benches in classrooms are bad and broken. Fans are not working properly. Hostels are average, and the food is average. The good thing about the college is that it has a very large sports complex, which has many indoor game courts and outdoor sports as well. There is a good library which is very large, and seats are available in very good condition.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. All teachers are qualified, and a maximum of teachers are PhD holders in their subject. The pass percentage in the semester exam is 60-70 percent. The course curriculum is relevant to us and very helpful. Semester exams are average, which is good, as students who have the ability can be promoted.
Other: Work should be done on the infrastructure. Events are organised, but there are few events.

Review from 2nd sem B.Tech E&C student.
Placements: The placements are even less than what we call decent here. You cant expect more from the on campus placements from this college. They roam around 3 to 4 LPA as the average package. Of course, it depends on the crowd as well, but still, there are very few packages offered here.
Infrastructure: The hostels of the university are in a way like, like you get a hostel in just 1st year, after that, there will be no hostels facility for students and still the hostels are not that good. 4 to5 students live in a single room and it becomes impossible for someone to study.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is pretty decent, like the same as you find everywhere, nothing special, nothing important. The curriculum is just the plain old one followed by most of the colleges in India and the exam pattern is what you can see on the college website.

GJU, Hisar, college life review.
Placements: In our university, almost 50 percent of the students are placed on the campus. The average package is 4 LPA, and the highest package is 23 LPA. Some of the companies that are enrolled in our university are Wipro, Infosys, TVS, etc. Data scientist, data analytics, and AI engineering are the top courses seen in placement and internship.
Infrastructure: There is very good infrastructure that helps us to learn easily. Very good classrooms and smart classes with Wi-Fi for each student are provided in the hostel. The food quality is not very good, but it has good medical facilities and a good sports ground.
Faculty: Teachers are almost PhD scholars and have good knowledge about their subjects. There are curricular activities that encourage us to do many activities. The exams in this university are moderate, not very hard, and almost half of the students in my class passed in all the subjects, and some got fails in 1 subject.
Other: My course is AI and Data Science. I chose this because there is a future scope in AI.

B.Tech. in Packaging Technology - Batch of 2029

A great place for practical learning in printing & packaging.
Placements: Placements in the printing & packaging technology course are decent but still improving. Around 60-70% students get placed every year. Top recruiting companies include ITC, Parksons Packaging, Zircon, TCPL, and Natraj. The highest package goes around 7-8 LPA, the average is around 3-4 LPA, and the lowest can be 2-2.5 LPA. Many students also get internships in corrugation, label printing and flexible packaging companies, which helps in gaining industry exposure. More core printing companies are expected to come in future.
Infrastructure: The university has a large campus with greenery and well-maintained buildings. The printing department is equipped with modern labs, offset and flexographic printing machines, computer labs, and a good library. Wi-Fi is available, and classrooms are clean and spacious. Hostel facilities are good, rooms are maintained properly, and the mess food is average but hygienic. Sports facilities, medical centre, canteen and stationery shops are available on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced, supportive & knowledgeable. They focus on both theoretical and practical learning. The curriculum is updated with the latest industry needs like packaging materials, designing, quality control, and printing technologies, which makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, regular assignments and practicals help in clearing easily. The pass percentage is usually high if you study regularly.
Other: I chose this course because the packaging industry is growing fast, offering great career opportunities in food, pharma, printing and manufacturing sectors. The best thing about the course is the practical exposure through labs, machines and internships. One improvement needed is that more companies should visit for placements, and the hostel mess food quality can be improved. Overall, the university gives a balanced experience of academics, skills and campus life.

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology is an overall good university.
Placements: Placements at my university are good across all fields. If we talk about the specific biotech department, then it's far better than the other departments. Students have more options in the research field in companies. There are many departments where placements are very good. The university offers companies the opportunity to organize job fairs on campus, where opportunities and competition increase.
Infrastructure: Basically, there are 4 hostels. Each hostel has Wi-Fi, a canteen, a mess, and TV rooms. There are grounds for playing as well. There are study rooms that are as good as libraries. Medical facilities are also available, as the health center is not far from the hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. The teaching quality is also good. The course is relevant but not as good. It prepares students to be industry-ready. Semester exams are both medium and tough. If your preparation is good, then you don't need to worry about exams.
Other: Students in need are sponsored by various scholarships. Events and fests are good, but there are many restrictions for outsiders who want to attend the events. The campus crowd is very good on weekends and weekdays.
