My point of view after two years of experience.
Placements: Placements in my college are average, especially in Computer Science. The Computer Science batches consist of around 65 to 70 students. Only 2 or 3 companies come for campus placements. A maximum of 5 students get placed, with packages ranging from 3 to 5 LPA. In 2022, the highest package of all time was 10 LPA. The average package was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS and RD Infro Teach. Most students do online internships. Around 2 to 3 students go for offline internships. Sales roles are offered mostly.
Infrastructure: The college and hostel infrastructure is good. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The college has two smart classrooms. Seven Wi-Fi connections are provided throughout the campus. Two libraries are available. Around 500 students live in the boys' hostel, and 150 students live in the girls' hostel. Wi-Fi is available in the hostels. The canteen is also open for 8 to 10 hours. The mess food is delicious. Cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, and table tennis facilities are available.
Faculty: Some teachers are well-qualified. They have PhDs and M.Tech. degrees. Knowledge is provided through books, but practical exposure is limited. There is no pressure regarding attendance. Students can prepare for government exams or GATE. The curriculum in every college is outdated, while the industry requires skills. Semester exams are moderate. Out of 70 students in CSE, around 20 students are able to clear all the subjects.
Other: This college is good because the fees are nominal. The four-year B.Tech. course costs around Rs. 3.2 lakhs. I want to become a software engineer, so I chose CSE. Coding is the best thing about the course. The college should renovate its infrastructure. Many events are organised, around 8 to 10 times a year. Buses are available from the college gate to the main city, which is around 30 km away. The fee breakdown is as follows. First year Rs. 40,100 tuition fees, Rs. 12,100 hostel fees, and Rs. 30,000 mess fees. Second year Rs. 39,700 tuition fees, Rs. 9,800 hostel fees, and Rs. 30,000 mess fees. Third year: Rs. 39,700 tuition fees, Rs. 9,800 hostel fees, and Rs. 30,000 mess fees. Fourth year is the same fees as the third year.

I suggest that students take admission to this university.
Placements: At least 60–70 percent of students get placed, with packages ranging from Rs. 20,000–Rs. 40,000. Companies like Cipla, Mankind, Abbott, etc., visit for placements. Around 70 percent of students get placed in the pharmaceutical industry in pharmacist roles. The college has had very good placements for many years, and students are happy with their decision to take admission in this college.
Infrastructure: The college has very good network quality and data speed. Classrooms are well-ventilated, big, and fully air-conditioned. Labs are also good. Regular practical sessions are conducted by teachers. The library is also good, and all books are available.
Faculty: Faculty of this college is very good and helps students with doubt-solving and in facing problems. The teaching quality is good. Faculty members are well-mannered and experienced. Students are prepared for industry because of the regular skill-based curriculum. The semester examination is neither too difficult nor too simple.

Good faculty, as they are passionate, hardworking, and punctual in their skills and work.
Placements: 50 percent of students clear JRF, NET, or other exams. Most students get into their dream university for future studies. Companies like Infosys, even in CSIR tech. I genuinely don't know about package so but mostly person earn upto luxurious life. Even an internship is compulsory.
Infrastructure: Our department is centralized and clean. We even have a lift in our department, which makes it easy for us to move around in our department. The hostel is very friendly and the office faculty is so kind and soft-spoken. Hostel have 3 storey and its infrastructure is good and give us our privacy by dividing our room in 3 portion.
Faculty: Mostly our teachers did their Ph.D. from best university even some are from our university also. Teachers give us every opportunity for discussion, presentation, and practicals. They even give us knowledge about the future. Our exams are of medium difficult level as they teach us respective to competitive exam.
Other: I want to do research about microbes which will helps in medical purpose as drugs information.

Absolutely satisfied with university.
Placements: Placements are very good. University provides high LPA packages. Companies from all over India come to our campus. There is a placement cell in university. The placement cell provides full information about which companies come and helps with the completion of our CVs. University is very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The classes are very neat and clean. Air conditioning is installed in the classes. Smart boards are available. Students can use the smart boards for studying after completing classes. Hostel rooms are neat and clean. There is a very large parking space. The food quality is good.
Faculty: The exams are good. The passing criteria are very simple. Attendance is mandatory. Attending regular classes helps students get grades and points, which help increase marks. Faculty members are good and helpful. The curriculum is very relevant. Exam certificates are issued. The option of re-evaluation is also available.

It's pretty good however, it depends on your calibre and other things.
Placements: According to the news and information I saw, many of the students got placements from here not only in my course but in other courses as well. One of my seniors is an entrepreneur working on his idea, that's kind of awesome. When I see other seniors, they are also doing good internships and other things.
Infrastructure: The grounds are available but I didn't see any sports teacher teaching any student, as far as I know. They just do formalities based on the sports minor case. No students are trained. The hostel food is below average. Canteens have good food and are affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are good. The teaching quality is above average. Some of the teachers are too good but some just do formalities you know. I can rate it 7 out of 10. One more thing the attendance criteria is 75 percent attendance but I guess it would be better if it were reduced to 40 or 50 percent and the remaining is given to practical skills-based classes so students get skills along with the theory.
Other: I wish if the NSS activities, other events, and fests are managed properly according to the time ot would have been great so we can enjoy as well as study. One more important thing is that the boys' hostel remains open 24/7 but the girls' hostel is closed at around 7:00 PM, that's not fair. We live in a society where every opportunity is equal, so they should also do something for that.

Disappointing experience at GJU Hisar in M.A. in Sanskrit. Placement & academic should be improved.
Placements: As for an M.A. in Sanskrit, the placement experience is so disappointing. After completing course, direct placement opportunities feel very limited and the focus of campus placement is mainly on technical or professional courses. Overall as of an M.A. in Sanskrit student, it is better to keep our expectations low.
Infrastructure: The campus of the university is so huge, but from an M.A. in Sanskrit student's point of view, facilities don't feel impressive. Academic facilities of the departments don't have the comfort that postgraduate students expect. Classrooms and the study environment can be improved. Mess food quality is dull to average. The food quality and variety can improve. My experience at GJU Hisar (M.A. in Sanskrit) is disappointing.
Faculty: Some classes can be interesting, but overall teaching quality doesn't feel consistent. Students' doubts should be solved, and individual academic guidance should be given better. There is also semester exam pressure, and students have to put in a lot of effort. I didn’t feel as satisfied as I had expected to be.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The course can be improved by increasing career-oriented and modern topics.

GJUST is generally considered a Tier-2.5 to Tier-3 government university in Haryana. If you are looking for an affordable government backed degree with good infrastructure, then you should consider GJUST.
