Yes, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology offers lateral entry to BTech course. Candidates shortlisted are offered direct admission to the second year of the BTech degree. Candidates will be admitted in the BTech (LE) through online counseling conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES).  

It is necessary that all the aspirants meet the course-specific eligibility criteria. Hence, it must be checked out before the form filling. Aspirants need to pass Class 12 to apply for BTech course. Check below detailed GJUST BTech eligibility requirements:An applicant should have passed Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.For admission to BE/ BTech (Bio-Technology), a candidate should be a pass in Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science.A candidate who is passed in Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised institute/ university.Candidates should have obtained 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidates).Note: In the absence of information, the above eligibility is taken from HSTES Counselling.
