How a college life is different from school life.

Placements: Being honest with you, I'd like to tell you that B.Sc. mathematics honors with a specialization in data science was introduced last year only and I am one of the students from the first batch so I can't say anything about placements or anything. There are only 13 students in the first batch, including me.

Infrastructure: One thing I'd definitely say is that the mathematics department of our university is one of the best departments because of its renowned faculty members. The faculty members are super geniuses. Every faculty member has mastered their field, like our head of department, who has researched topology and differential equations. Being a hosteller, I? would say that home is home for everyone but living in a hostel allows you to explore new things. I would give a solid 4 out of 5 to the facilities that are provided by my hostel. Even the food tastes good until you know how it was prepared. I was very scared about food before but the mess, the utensils, everything is quite decent and the food quality is also good.

Faculty: As I said above, the teachers are super cool, and their way of teaching is fantastic. I've never seen that many experienced teachers in my life, as the course name itself suggests a specialization in data science, which directly puts you in industry if and only if you acquire the proper skills.
