My experience at GLA University in Electrical Engineering with EV Technology.
Placements: I'm doing B.Tech Electrical Engineering with EV Technology at GLA University, Mathura. Placements are quite good, as around 97% of the students got placed in the previous year. We get opportunities in core electrical, EV, and other technical fields apart from the training and recruitment support provided.
Infrastructure: GLA University in Mathura can cater to the infrastructure needs of Electrical Engineering with EV Technology. The university provides classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, library, computers, hostel, mess, medical and sports facilities. The maintenance and mess food can be better.
Faculty: Faculty members of GLA University are very cooperative, student-friendly, and knowledgeable. They help students with appropriate explanations and also guide them during the time of need. The course EE-EVT is up-to-date, and it consists of relevant topics that provide the theoretical as well as practical knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals. It also includes EV Technology, which is the emerging field of the present scenario. Semester exams are of a moderate level, and regular studies can fetch good marks in exams. In conclusion, I would say that faculty, curriculum, and exam pattern altogether offer a great environment for engineering students.
Other: I chose Electrical Engineering with EV Technology because of my interest in electrical engineering and the emerging field of electric vehicles. The course offers a good mix of academic and practical learning. We have campus events, extracurricular and student activities to make college life enjoyable. The course can be improved further with more industry exposure, practical projects, and internships. Overall, GLA provides good opportunities for learning and personal development.

Based on my experience, for the CSE course, placements and lab infrastructure are the biggest streng
Placements: I recently completed a B.Tech in CSE from GLA University. About 75% of students in CSE get placed at the end of their final year. The highest salary package offered was around 17-22 LPA. The average salary offered was 3 LPA - 6 LPA, and the lowest was 3LPA. Students were placed mostly in service-based companies. Top recruiting companies for our B.Tech CSE were Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, and IBM, and are the main recruiters who visit for campus placements. The majority of students get internships provided by the college in collaboration with Coding Blocks. The top roles offered in our course are software developer, Associate software engineer, System Engineers, Technical Support Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities for the CSE department include well-equipped computer labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms with projectors. The library has a good collection of technical books, journals, and digital resources. Labs are updated with the latest software tools for programming, networking, and AI/ML. Hostel rooms are basic but comfortable, with Wi-Fi and regular maintenance. Mess food is decent with daily variety, though quality can vary at times. A medical facility should be provided on time when someone needs and MBBS doctor is hired for the medical facility. Sports facilities are good, including grounds for Cricket, football, and badminton. Indoor games like table tennis can be played.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly qualified from IITs. They are knowledgeable with good industry/research experience. Teaching quality is good, with a mix of theory and practical knowledge. Curriculum includes core CSE subjects plus newer areas like AIML and data Science Development. Workshops and projects help make students industry-ready, though more hands-on exposure could help. Exams are of moderate difficulty, manageable with regular study. Pass percentages are moderate, like in midterm 15/30 and end term 28/50.
Other: I chose CSE because of its strong career scope and good placement record. Also, the experience of college life and the growing demand in the teaching industry. The best thing about the course is an updated curriculum. Good lab facilities and exposure to real-world projects and internships. The college hosts regular teach fest, cultural events, and hackathons that keep students' lives active. The campus crowd is diverse, with students from different states. Connectivity to Mathura city is decent. Transport facilities are available 24*7. Scholarships are based on the merit of the students. Also, UP Government offers scholarships for eligible students. Extracurricular activities like clubs, sports and cultural societies are well supported.

It is Tier 3 college, so don't come with huge expectations. Study harder & don't depend on college.
Placements: During my time, around 1,200 out of 2,217 students get placed, which is around 60–65%. The highest on-campus package is 60 LPA, while three girls get 48 LPA through off-campus placements at Amazon. Microsoft is the top recruiter. Software Engineer is the top role, and most internships are offered by startups. Major companies that recruit on campus include Microsoft, Zscaler, Reltio, HashedIn, EPAM, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, and Cisco.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good in some blocks and bad in others. It depends on which academic block your classes are scheduled in. I guess the library is of no use since everyone studies from YouTube, but it is rare to find books with new editions there. The classroom infrastructure in AB1, AB12, and AB11 is good, while the rest are like schools. The mess food is the worst, to be honest. The canteen food is okayish but expensive. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games are good. The infrastructure is outdated. The hostel feels like it belongs to the 2015 era.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but only for upper sections. Lower sections have bad faculty members. The curriculum is not relevant, as admitted by the HOD and many faculty members. The curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is around 85%.
Other: I chose this course because many students are pursuing B.Tech. in CSE, and I am also interested in AI and ML. Internships should be increased or made compulsory from the second year. Fests and events happen occasionally, around two or three times. Scholarships are available based on Class 12 marks. Most people in the surrounding areas are from villages.

Placements: In my course, a total of 85 to 90% of students get placed. The highest package was 48 LPA, and in 2025 it is 62 LPA. The lowest package is 4.25 LPA, and the average package is 6.75 to 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, Wipro, Deloitte, Accenture Infosys, Capgemini, etc. Roles they offered are Graduate engineer trainee role, SDE intern, frontend developed intern, Data analyst, Business analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and libraries of this college are fully furnished. Air-conditioning and smart boards, as well as a 24/7 Wi-Fi facility, are provided. There are various numbers of books available inside the library related to your course and development, and many more. Facilities provided inside the hostel are AC and non-AC rooms of double and triple sharing. Hostel for girls and boys are separate and have single, double, and triple sharing. Mess food is good and hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive but some are rude. Also, it depends on your interaction. Coding faculty is not up to the mark. The course curriculum followed over there is the recent industry trend. Semester examinations are not very hard, but not very simple also you must have to pay attention to this and maintain your performance because of youd don't do so there is a high chance of backlog which makes a problem in your placement session.
Other: I chose this college because of its academic program, which they follow is current industry-oriented syllabus and focuses mainly on practical knowledge. Also, the placement in my course is very good compared to Tier 3 colleges, and this is the main reason GLA University is the number 1 private University in Uttar Pradesh.

Satisfied with the faculty, good placements, good infrastructure, and not-so-good facilities.
Placements: The highest package is 55 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Global Logic, Microsoft, etc., but a large part also depends on one's hard work. The top roles offered in my course are software developer, tester, frontend developer, backend developer, full-stack developer, etc. A few of my seniors got internships in Amazon, Microsoft, and JP Morgan, and some got PPO too later on because of their hard work and dedication.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are fairly good. Every department has its own Wi-Fi, and classrooms are also really well made. Each class has projectors and enough space. The library is also really well made and a nice place to study quietly and peacefully. Talking about the hostel, it also depends on one's adjustment qualities. But the food in the mess is good and sometimes not good too. Canteen food is better tasting than the mess hall food. Medical facilities are average. There is room for improvement. A lot of options and events for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are really knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good compared to some other colleges. The course curriculum is relevant to my engineering degree. Topics are also updated from time to time to keep up with the technology. It is designed for industry working. If a student studies even for 3 or 4 days a week and gives a minimum time for studies, they can pass the exams.
Other: The crowd could have been a bit better but it's a good place. The fests are also good. I chose this course as I want to be a developer.

GLA University, Mathura deadline has not been revealed at this point however, several UG level courses will commence classes from August.
