GLA University is made for placements only, not for fun.

Placements: In my course, more than 80% of students got placement in their respective roles. Recently, there were 10 recruiters who got internships at Microsoft, and there are also more interested, except for Microsoft. Companies like Google, IBM, Infosys, TCS, etc., are recruiters. Mostly, from there, more than 70%of people pursue full-stack development as a career choice because the demand for full-stack developers is high in the market, so most people pursue this career choice. From the previous batch, the highest package was of 55 LPA, and the average was 8.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: I think for hostlers, personally, this is the best college you can find. The food is awesome, the rooms are awesome, and there are more choices of careers in sports, too. Canteen food quality is average, but from an overall perspective, it's more than average. I find it quite attractive when I chose this college.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and they provide you with the proper type of notes that you can use to study, or you can make your while learning. That will be helpful for you, and the course curriculum is also relevant to your goals. They also provide industrial tools for practical knowledge, but for that, you have to pass their criteria. In the second year, they perform a profiling test, and whoever passes the test will receive the opportunity to move forward in everything, as they categorize you from other people.

Other: I think events, fests, and connectivity with senior people are the things that should be improved, as this college is not for those people who want to enjoy their college life. For them, the priority for enjoyment is more than study. You can't handle the stress of exams, extra certification tests, coding quizzes, and the entertainment industry on one hand, but it can be managed if you try.

Faculty: Faculty, curriculum & exams: Faculty members are qualified and helpful, with good teaching quality. The curriculum is industry-relevant, covering core and advanced topics. Semester exams are moderate, with a high pass percentage (~90%). Supportive faculty, relevant curriculum, and industry-focused subjects. Exams are fair with a good pass rate. Prepares students well for placements and higher studies.

Other: I chose CSE due to my passion for technology and problem-solving. The best part is the exposure to coding, AI/ML, and real-world projects. Regular workshops, hackathons, and coding contests boost practical skills. Areas of improvement: More focus on advanced teaching stacks and research opportunities would help. Industry visits and tie-ups can also be increased. The campus is well-connected and safe, with events like Technotsav and Spandan bringing energy to student life. The crowd is diverse and active in extracurricular activities like music, dance, debates, and sports. Scholarships are provided based on merit. Clubs and fests add to the learning and fun.

Students life on a college campus.

Placements: It's an amazing journey for us to be a part of this university. Approximately 90 to 95% of students are placed. The highest package is 44 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon and Capgemini. On average, 50 to 60% got internships from my course. The role offered is SDE.

Infrastructure: In this, I am not so satisfied with the infrastructure because in many classrooms, the ACs are not working properly. Many times, projectors are not working. There is a good facility for games and good food, but many hostelers are complaining about the mess food. Nice ground.

Faculty: In my college, the teaching style is very amazing; our faculty are teaching something, and the exams are about something else. But yes, the course makes the students industry-ready. It's not so difficult, but not so easy for any student to pass the exam. Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching is good with the theory part. Semester exams are so different from the class.

Other: I chose this course because of the industry demand. The best thing about this course is that it teaches you how to tackle real-time problems. This course improves your thinking power and your logic. Every day, a new event or fest is organized in this college.

Placements: Placement was very bad at my time. Basically, there are around 1200 batches from 2020 to 2024. This college only provides 40 to 50 % of placements. There were no such companies to take mass hiring. The college’s involvement in the placement cell is very bad; there is no preparation for interviews.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good in my course, and the hostels are also satisfying the conditions in the 1st year. But after the first year, there is not such good condition in the hostels for the students, and also the mess is not good. While the infrastructure of my course is good.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good; they are supported by the helpful ones, but there are some teachers that day who do not have the manner because they always consume tobacco in the classes while teaching, and the behaviour of some teachers is very bad overall. Faculty members are very good; there are a few who were not good.
