Decent college with good infrastructure and average placement B.Tech CSE 2027.
Placements: I am from B.Tech CSE 2023 to 2027 batch, and placements at GLA University are average to decent, depending on the students skill level. In our course, around 65 to 70 percent of students usually get placed. The highest package goes up to around 60 LPA for a few exceptional candidates. The average remains near 5 to 10 LPA, while some students receive offers around 3 to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure:
Infrastructure at GLA University is one of its best features. Classrooms are neat and equipped with projectors. Labs have working systems but can feel crowded at times. The library is large, peaceful, and has good Internet access. Wi-Fi across the campus works most of the time. Hostel facilities are average, rooms are decent, though maintenance requests sometimes take time. Mess is okay, neither bad nor very good, but canteen food is better.
Faculty:
Faculty members are qualified and supportive, though teaching quality can vary between departments. Placements: According to last year placement records, the placement percentage lies between 65-80%. For B. Tech (CSE), the highest package reported is 60 LPA. The lowest package is 4.5 LPA, and the average package is 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Deloitte, and L&T. Around 40% of students get internships in B. Tech (CSE) in companies like Adobe, Microsoft, and Capgemini. Top roles offered are Software Developer, Software Engineer, and Data Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is quite good. Most essential facilities are well maintained. Classrooms are clean and equipped with projectors, and the Wi-Fi works smoothly in academic blocks. Each block contains its own well-maintained library. Hostel facilities are decent. Rooms are not big but hygienic, and housekeeping is done on a daily basis. The mess food is manageable and offers enough variety, though it can be improved at times. There are three canteens. The campus also provides medical facilities, a well-equipped gym, and sports facilities.
Faculty: Faculty in my course is experienced and supportive. Most teachers are well qualified and explain concepts clearly using practical examples when needed. The curriculum is updated and includes industry-relevant subjects that help build a strong foundation. Exams are conducted fairly and on time with a balance of theory and practical assessment.
Other: Overall my experience at the university is positive. The campus is clean, safe, and well maintained. The placement cell works actively to bring companies and guide students throughout the process. The college provides facilities to visit other colleges and industries for better learning. Many fests occur on the campus. The campus crowd is slightly large with good connectivity and support services. The campus is safe and secure. There are many scholarships based on merit.
