A good college in a good location with a nice campus and faculty members.
Placements: Many companies visit the college for placements for the year 2025. Some students got placements at companies. The placement cell also works hard to make sure students get their preferred job role. I guess the highest package offered is 8 or 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: The B.Tech classrooms are nice. Labs are also well-maintained. It provides a good space for sitting and reading in the library. GLS College doesn't have its own hostel, but they have tie-ups with the hostel. The Hive Hostel is nice, and I stay there only.
Faculty: Teachers in the B.Tech department are really helpful. Whenever we get stuck in anything, they help us get resolved. The course curriculum is relevant, which would be helpful in the future. Semester exams are not that difficult, and the main thing we get stuck on is the objective (11 marks).
Other: Events are organised like youth fest, tech fest, sports event, etc. Surroundings of the campus are really safe as it is always crowded. GLS University FET department doesn't only focus on academics, but also makes us solve problems that can be further implemented.

GLS University: Vibrant campus life and good industry ties, but consistent faculty quality.
Placements: 80% average students are placed every year.
The lowest package is 4 LPA, average package is 8 LPA, and the highest package is 16 LPA.
TCS, ICICI, HDFC, Asian Paints, Airtel, Vodafone, etc.
All the students get compulsory internships in Wipro, HCL, TCS, etc.
Computer programmer, Fullstack developer, Web designer and developer, Game developer, Quality analyst/tester, Blockchain developer, AI/ML engineer, Data scientist/data analyst, Software engineer, Software architect.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is some years old, but we get very advanced infrastructure that is under construction. We get full-speed Wi-Fi up to 100 Mbps, very advanced labs with Ubuntu OS, and we get an Apple lab also. Classrooms are full of light, with AC, fans, one board for chalk writing, and one whiteboard for a projector. Sorry, but I am living outside in another hostel.
Faculty: All the faculty are Ph.D. holders and they are very helpful, but sometimes they behave rudely, and the teaching quality depends on the time of the lecture.
Industry Collaboration: Whether the curriculum is drafted in partnership with industry professionals and companies or not.
Practical Exposure: Will there be internship opportunities, projects, or hands-on experience in the curriculum?
Skill Development: Are the courses in high-demand skills and technology? Are they related to the field?
Alumni Success: How far have alumni been able to transition into the industry?
Update and Relevance: Determined whether the curriculum is updated frequently, based on current trends and breakthroughs in industries.
