HNLU Raipur accepts the scores of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission to BA LLB (Hons) programme. CLAT is a national level entrance exam for law courses, conducted by the 18 participating law schools in rotation. The test consists of objective type questions and carries a maximum of 200 marks. No, there is no provision for direct admission to BA LLB (Hons) at HNLU Raipur. Admission is provided only to the applicants who meet the preset eligiblity criteria and clear the CLAT cut-off. Interested candidates must apply for CLAT by visiting the official website of the Consortium of the NLUs. While applying, they must select HNLU Raipur at the top of their preferred NLUs. After the declaration of CLAT results, they must register for the CLAT counselling process by visiting the same website. Based on the ranks obtained by the candidates in the CLAT exam, they will be allotted seats in their preferred NLUs. In each round of counselling, candidates have an option to accept (freeze), upgrade or exit from their allotted seat.
B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) at HNLU Raipur is a 5 years course at the UG level. The course offers admission to 180 students. The total tuition fee for HNLU Raipur B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) is INR 6.00 Lakh.
