GNLU - Great infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: Gujarat National Law University is a premier NLU that provides an average package of 12 LPA - 14 LPA. The highest package of GNLU is 20 LPA - 25 LPA. Placements are done at the end of the 8th semester, where tier-1 companies like Khaitan, CAM, SAM, Trilegal, AZB Partners, Saraf and Partners, and Alwar Thakur and Associates come for campus recruitment. Tier-2 companies also come for recruitment on day zero with in-house companies like Adani, Tata, ICICI Bank, and many more. GNLU also offers various internship opportunities to all the students in tier-1 and 2 firms.
Infrastructure: GNLU has a very good infrastructure. It has well air-conditioned classrooms and a library with all the teaching and study materials required by students for academics, moot, or any competition purposes. The library has over 1 lakh books and well-spaced tables for students to study and have group discussions.
Faculty: Teachers at GNLU are very experienced in their field of teaching. They are very approachable. They conduct expert lectures that provide real-world insights into the law and management to students. The exams are conducted every semester and are of moderate level.
Other: I had a keen interest in business and wanted to appear for the judiciary, therefore, I chose BBA LL.B. as my course. This course not only trains you in fundamental law subjects like CPC, BNS, BNSS, and the constitution but also trains you in accounting, business management, and economics.

GNLU is equal but not better than NLU, Jodhpur. Worth the money.
Placements: The placements of the campus are good. About top 30 students of the 2017 batch got good job offers from the top law firms ranging from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas to Trilegal. However, this figure includes both pre-placement offers and the campus placements. The figure has been consistent, and Gujarat National Law University students were able to score good job offers by top law firms in 2015. Same can be said for the year 2014. Thus there are all the reasons to put Gujarat National Law University in a tremendous position among all the other law schools of the country. There were talks that one of the students even got a placement of above 20 lakhs per annum. But they were unconfirmed reports, and I cannot endorse the veracity of them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is something that I astonished. The administration of Gujarat National Law University has surprised us with the new additions to the awesome campus. The greenery, flora, and fauna amaze and delights us. We have a well-developed library along with a spacious football ground. This adds to the cricket oval perhaps the only in any of the National Law Universities around India. We have a basketball court along with a lawn tennis court and a Kho Kho ground along with a kabbadi field. We also have a volleyball field. All we lack is a swimming pool, and most probably will be built by the end of 2020, which is based on unconfirmed reports. However, the fee is about one and a half lakhs but still is worth it. Since the mess is to my surprise is good. We have the medical staff on the campus for 24*7.
Faculty: This is something with which I am not satisfied with is the faculty. Most of the faculty do not have a good understanding of their subject and even stammer at the slightest questions. On paper, most of the faculty are qualified enough, but in class, most of them seem incompetent to me. All they do is refer the powerpoint presentations, and the evaluation system is extremely flawed.
Other: It is located in the famous knowledge corridor of Gujarat, so we have a large number of students of the other colleges around us. This helps us in various aspects since numerous cheap food joints surround us. A large number of colleges around us ensure a high degree of social interaction among the students of all the colleges including NIFT, NID, IIM-A, and GNLU. GNLU is a good option to choose from if you have not ensured a seat in NALSAR, NLS, NUJS or NLU-Delhi. GNLU is a good place to get an educational experience.

GNLU- A world-class university in the making. Good infrastructure and facilities & decent placements
Placements: The placements were decent. Our batch i.e the 2011-16 batch got the highest number of placement offers in the history of GNLU. All the major law firms visited the campus during the recruitment season, namely, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Khaitan & Co., Luthra & Luthra, Jyoti Sagar Associates, Trilegal and many more. Many companies (public, private and government) and few LPOs also recruited. The range of salary was from 5.5-16.5 lac per annum. Many students opted for litigation and they were given GLASS scholarship (GNLU Litigation Assistance & Support Scholarship). Few pursued L.L.M from renowned Indian and foreign universities.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors, microphones, computer & air-conditioners. GNLU has a 3-floor library which is the best in Gujarat and one of the best in the country. There is a fully equipped medical room with 24*7 nurse and a doctor visiting daily. Sports infrastructure in GNLU is very good. It has separate grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, lawn-tennis, badminton, basketball and a high class gym. It has indoor games like table-tennis, carom & chess. There is a well-functioning computer lab and a chemistry & physics lab for science students. The quality of food is decent for a mess. GNLU also has a night mess which is operational during exam times from 12-3 a.m. The hostel rooms are big and spacious with good ventilation.
Faculty: The faculty members were highly qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. They used practical and interactive methods for the lectures. The projects, assignments, dissertations and group discussions helped the students in getting in-depth and practical knowledge about a particular subject. Professors also invited various renowned personalities to conduct lectures and special courses on subjects which were not a part of the regular curriculum. There were a lot of visits to various places like Central Jail, High Court of Gujarat, Industrial Area, etc. The course curriculum was very useful and very practical.
Other: GNLU is a very good institution not only for academics but also for co-curricular and extra curricular activities. There is an annual cultural event which is known as Pentagram, which is one of the best events among law schools. GNLU also organizes national sports fest. GIMC (GNLU International Moot Court Competition) is one of the best international moot court competitions in the country. And there are various intra-university events that happen on a regular basis.
