Graphic Era Hill University has good placement and decent growth.
Placements: Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, has a decent placement record in every course in engineering and IT-related courses. Many companies come here for placement, like Google, Microsoft and others. Pre-internships are also provided by the university.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good and hygienic with proper cleanliness and good food in a mess. Proper security is maintained inside the hostel, and with a comfortable vibe for fitness and extracurricular activities, a gym and other activities are also provided in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty in the college are very nice to the students and very helpful. They help students with their doubts, exams and practicals are well organised. All teachers are PhD qualified, they are knowledgeable with a polite nature, and the way of teaching is very professional.
Other: The university organises student fashion fest, and other festival fair that makes the college more enjoyable. Many Bollywood singers and rappers come in the fastest, which makes the night like a heavenly campus. Life is very nice and very good, and the college is a value for money for sure.

Our college is just overrated.
Placements: Placements are not available in the B.Sc. in Animation and Gaming department, even though the department is not registered for placements either. Only 5 or 6% of students got internships in college, and the rest students got internships on their own.
Infrastructure: In our course, most of the furniture is poor or too old. Even systems do not work properly, and they are still using old software, and they are not using the latest Windows version. Classrooms are too small and the ratio of the benches and students is not even, so some students sit on the floor.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but some are very arrogant and rude. They debarred students even if they have medical problems. They charge Rs. 100 per class from students for a remedial class to increase attendance, but still, students were debarred after taking remedial classes.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2025, and really good infrastructure.
Placements: Above 60%, if you have 60% you will get admission in animation and gaming. It's basically about the skills you get in college. If you have best skills, then you will get a good placement, it only depends on the student. BCA and B.Tech are offered top roles in our college.
Infrastructure: At Graphic Era Hill University, you get all facilities. There is a good hostel facility available, and food in hostel is very good, and hostel has a ground that will help with your mental health.
Faculty: All faculty are of good quality and they are very helpful, they will make good student if they learn from them. Exams are not difficult if you are focused on classes, and then the exams are so easy. Teaching quality of the college is very good, and they are very good teacher, and they will help in any condition if you ask them for anything. Staff of Graphic Era were very good, and faculty were very helpful. If you have a problem, they can solve it.
Other: Animation and gaming are good, and I chose this course because in the future it will be in demand, and there are many things to learn from this course.

Supportive faculty and ample opportunities for projects and internships.
Placements: Placements are one of the university’s strong points. Companies like Amazon Infosys Wipro and Adobe regularly visit. In 2023 the highest package offered was around 48 LPA (for a B.Tech student) and for BCA students it ranges from 3 to 7 LPA depending on skills. Around 75-80 percent of eligible students get placed if they are actively applying and maintain decent scores.
Infrastructure: Our campus is clean, green, and well-maintained. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, and the labs are decent. The Wi-Fi is okay, not amazing, but it gets the job done. The library is well-stocked and peaceful for self-study. Hostel facilities are available but a bit costly, most students prefer PGs around the area
Faculty: The academics at GEHU are solid, especially for teaching courses like B.Tech and BCA. The curriculum is updated and aligned with industry requirements, especially in fields like AI, ML, and cloud computing. Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, though the teaching style of a few professors can feel a bit traditional. Internal assessments, assignments, and semester exams are conducted seriously.

Really good infrastructure, faculty members are good, and college life is amazing.
Placements: There are almost no placements in the B.Sc. (H) mathematics. The average package is 3 LPA. Almost 2-3 students got placed from a total of 40 students. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, HDFC Bank, GlobalLogic, and TCS. One student got internships in our batch from HDFC.
Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure and it's greenery all around. Classrooms are clean and spacious. There is free Wi-Fi on the whole campus and students can access the library, sports facilities, and medical facilities in case of emergency. Miranda hostel for girls is newly built and luxurious. Also, the food provided is good.
Faculty: Teachers for our course are very helpful. Most of them have completed their PhDs from reputed colleges. Teachers are always ready to solve any doubts and help the students. The course curriculum is also being followed as it is designed by the government. Semester exams are not very much difficult, if one pays attention in class.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in mathematics and pursuing research. I think more practical knowledge should be provided to the students rather than just verbal knowledge. Campus fest is always great. There are many extracurricular activities happening on the campus in which any student can participate. Overall, if you want to study mathematics and prefer private college then GEHU is great for that purpose.

Overall, a good college for learning and grabbing opportunities.
Placements: On average, there are over 120 students in my course. The highest package goes up to 25 lakhs, while the lowest is around 3 lakhs per annum. Wipro, True Blue, and TCS internships depend upon students' skills. Agricultural officer roles are the top positions, along with jobs in FSSAI. Overall placement depends on the students.
Infrastructure: The campus is good and has all the basic facilities. The hostels are clean, with proper safety and good mess facilities. There is also a sports area within the campus that includes both indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The environment on campus is pleasant, though the only disadvantage is that the campus is not very large.
Faculty: The faculty in my course is well-skilled in teaching. They are all experienced and helpful. For agriculture students, a weekly field day is also held, which is beneficial for practical learning. Semester exams are not so difficult if one has prepared well. You need 40 percent to pass the exam.
