Gujarat Technological University Placement Overview 2024
In 2024, Gujarat Technological University placements recorded a total of 15 students from various MTech branches- CS, IoT and Civil getting placed in top companies. The leading recruiters who participated in the placements include- DRDO, TCS and ISRO among others in the season 2024.
Gujarat Technological University has set up an "Integrated Training & Placement Cell" to assist institutions in improving students' employability skills. This initiative aims to help students secure jobs and adapt to the challenges of a changing work environment. Additionally, the department focuses on developing entrepreneurial skills, enabling students to start their own businesses and create job opportunities for others. It is one of the best ROI.
Placements: In my course, 80 to 90% of students are placed with the highest package being 18 LPA and the lowest being 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Atul Amul Adani and AMNS. This is the placement of last year, this year, they are happening now at the same place.
Infrastructure: My course is decent, but the facilities provided are average. In terms of usefulness, well, thats bad as most things might work sometimes and some might not. The hostel infrastructure is just bad, even for a government college, its unlivable.
Faculty: In terms of faculty, they are one of the most educated in my state, but the curriculum is just not good, its outdated, and the resources to study that are not practical, its like rote learning and remembering everything. The semester exam is hard.

The best college I've seen.
Placements: 45% of students have come to the pharmacy in our college. A minimum package is 1.5 LPA. The maximum package is 6 LPA. Salary job opportunities occur at Sun Pharma, Torrent, and J.B. Chemical. Around 30% go into internships. I'm currently an intern at ABC Medical Store as a Pharmacist Assistant.
Infrastructure: In my college, Wi-Fi is available, AC is available, and currently, some classrooms are under renovation. The food in the mess is the best, and in sports, it’s like a career. A sports academy also exists in my college, and chess, volleyball, and football competitions are held regularly by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and good. A student, after studying, is capable of making a new and smart business with good ideas. The semester exam is based on GTU University under B.K. Modi, and the exam is moderate, not as much different or difficult, based on 60% past year questions.
Other: I chose this college to become a good pharmacist, like my brother. Improve the guidance on some proxies and abilities. Scholarships are available for good students who score well in 12th, and every year, there are festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and disco parties, with all celebrations being joyful.

After all, if you are a person who is easy.
Placements: My batch has a total of 90 students when I was admitted to this university. The highest package of 50+ LPA has been mentioned in the uni prospectus. Well, the internship has been very less provided , and yes, the placements too.
Companies like TCS , Google, IBM , and many more are seen.
Infrastructure: Every facility seems pretty decent and I have no complaints regarding it. Everything works perfectly fine for me in the uni premises. Hostel rooms have a total capacity of 5 people per room allotment and yes it is very good , no problem at my end.
Faculty: Not gonna lie , teachers are not okay. I can't cope up with them. The only concern of the college is that yes, the teachers are very helpful if any problem arises. You can always reach out to them. They will help you. The semester exams are just a piece of cake. It’s very easy.
Other: Lots and lots of events happening in the uni. No doubt

One of the best college L.D.
Placements: Around 165 students are placed in my Mechanical Course. My college provides excellent placement. In the year 2024-25, 92% of students got placed. The highest package is 19 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 4.5 LPA. Top companies are Reliance, Adani, Atul, L&T, Hitachi, Voltas, etc. My college does not provide any internships. If you want an internship, you must go outside of the college.
Infrastructure: According to the infrastructure, the best facilities are provided by LDCE. The infrastructure of LDCE is very old, and now the departments are under repair. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, sports club, and any other clubs are provided by LDCE. Good quality food is available in the mess. Canteen food is hygienic, according to me.
Faculty: In LDCE, most of the teachers are well qualified. They are also very helpful to students all the time. Their knowledge is excellent. They have the best type of teaching methods. My course curriculum is not industry-ready to me because it is technical. Semester exams are not very difficult.

This college is the best in Surat for the right education in engineering.
Placements: Many students are placed by this college. In this college, there are arts, commerce, and science departments available. After completing college, many students get placements. Many students start their own business so we say that college is good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is good. Building was renovated few years ago so infrastructure is so good. Hostel is available here so students can live here. We can say that many facilities are available here. Classrooms are good, and library is also available.
Faculty: There are very good faculty members in the college. They teach very well to the students, and they are pass out from very good knowing colleges. They are very helpful to all students, and they give very useful tips to the students so they can achieve more marks in the exam.

Really good faculty members, but bad condition of buildings.
Placements: 50-60 percent of students in my course are placed. The highest package in my course is 6 Lacs per year, and the average package is 1.5 Lacs per year. There are many companies like Godrej, Adani, and Jio that are coming for the placement and take examinations and interviews for the placement.
Infrastructure: There is a library in the college. Classrooms are average by their construction. Wi-Fi is not available at all places. There is no food available in the hostel. There are badminton, volleyball, and basketball grounds available in the college. The campus is looking good.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are average. Some teachers teach well, but some teachers don't take an interest in teaching students. Some teachers don't complete the full syllabus, but some teachers are good. So I can say that most of the teachers teach well. So taking admission to the college is not so bad.
