Is GGU good for you or not?
Placements: The number of placements has been so low for several years. The average placement package is 6 LPA, and most students get a chance at an internship. No top recruiters are coming, only a few small law firms require some students on a low salary.
Infrastructure: Only vegetarian food options are available, and the fee is kind of high for the hostel students, but overall, the facility is good, like Wi-Fi, water, electricity and clean surroundings. There are some options for like medical support, an indoor games facility and an attached mess for each hostel.
Faculty: The number of faculty is so low, according to UGC guidance, there are only 7 to 10 professors for each department. Most of the subject teachers are research scholars. Semester exams are not so difficult if you study properly, but you need self-study skills to pass the exam.
Other: LL.B. in GGU is a good option for more opportunities in the Chhattisgarh High, which is near the campus. The number of festivals, etc., is so limited.

It is highly recommended for students who don't have enough money.
Placements: Last year, in my department, the highest package offered was 5 LPA (on campus). We have to look for off-campus placements. Placement rate is not good. As a first-year student, I learned that doing engineering at such a low cost has its own drawbacks. The main focus of the college is on our course collection rather than innovation. It is highly recommended for students who can learn on their own.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi, but many times it doesn't work. Labs are fine. Classrooms are well-maintained. We can get most of the books for B.Tech studies. The hostel provided to the first-year B.Tech students is Bilasa Devi Girls' Hostel, which is pretty decent. For the second to fourth year students, it provides the Rajmohini Hostel, which is not good but manageable. Mess food is edible. It only provides basic facilities. It may improve in the next 5-6 years.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Many teachers are knowledgeable in their respective fields. The course curriculum is okay, but not enough for complete understanding. In each semester, the difficulty level of exams increases. The pass percentage of my class is pretty good. 90% of students pass exams, but many of my seniors are detained. Teachers are good.

Enhance your own skills. Do not depend on anyone.
Placements: Placement is decent (on-campus), quite low. You have to go off campus for better placement. Don't come here with the hope of top MNCs. Startups recruit mostly here with better placement. In 2021 Amazon came to our campus, but unfortunately they did not select anyone. Internship culture is also very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good and the hostel is also very nice but the availability of hostels is also very limited. Hostel depends on a rank basis. A higher-ranked student gets a hostel seat. The mess of the hostel is decent don't expect 5-star food in any college in India.
Faculty: Faculty is an okay type. You have to study previous year question papers for semester exams only. Professors are not very strict. They are too good. Achieving a higher CGPA is easier here with less effort than in other colleges. The curriculum is also very good with many clubs.
Other: The crowd is too much because of the university culture.

A little bit of satisfaction, no placement.
Placements: Placement rates are very low, and don't assume placement from the university. There is nothing like campus placement. The university will not help with getting a placement. All you have to do is by yourself. The university does have a placement cell, but it doesn't help.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of hostels is good, but in departments, it's not that good. Some of the departments have good infrastructure, like buildings, of course, like B.Tech. Other than that not such good infrastructure in any other departments. So, overall infrastructure is not good.
Faculty: Most faculty members are not permanent. In our department, there are only 2 permanent faculty members, the rest are either ad-hoc, research scholars, or students of LLM. Exams are taken on time. Internals sometimes get delayed, but semester exams are taken on time.
Other: I will suggest it as value for money because, being a central university, the fees are very low in comparison to other colleges and universities. Campus life is also good because it is a big campus with greenery everywhere.

Good college besides placements.
Placements: Placements are average, not so high. Apart from NIPER, all other colleges have average placements. Cipla, Sun Pharma, and Dr. Reddy visited our college. Mostly, students are placed in different production units in the pharma industry. The highest package offered was 3.2 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 2.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus with CCTV security. Labs are spacious and have all apparatus used in the industry. Classrooms are spacious and have projectors and speakers. There are many cafeterias on the campus. The library is good. All types of books and magazines are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly educated and experienced. Faculty members have done their masters and Ph.D. They are helpful in nature and clear our doubts. The course curriculum is good. It prepares us to explore the new world. There are two semesters in a year, and each semester has two sessionals conducted by the college.

Supportive faculty and decent academics, but limited industry exposure in VFX & Animation at GGV.
Placements: 65% of students got placed in my course. The highest package is 64 LPA, the lowest is 4 to 8 LPA, and the average package is 17 to 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Almost 90% of students get internships in different companies.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully residential with spacious classrooms and lecture halls. Many classrooms are digitally enabled, and Wi-Fi coverage is available across the whole campus. Multiple laboratories are present, plus computer labs with an updated system. We have a central library with tens of thousands of books. The hostel facility is good.
Faculty: Most faculty members are well qualified, with backgrounds in Computer Science, IT, and animation-related fields. If we talk about teaching quality, then theoretical knowledge is strong, but practical exposure could be improved. The B.Tech in VFX & Animation is structured under the Department of Information Technology. No, it doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are considered moderate.
