My honest review of my college.
Placements: Placement records are awesome because the university placement cell brought many companies to the campus recruitment from different bodies like NGOs, multinational companies, government organisations, and private sectors as well. Normally, the company offers Rs 2,80,000 to Rs 14,00,000 package depending on the company. Companies that come here are Wipro, Infosys, L&T, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej, few pharmacy company, etc.
Infrastructure: The courses offered by the university are very good which cover all necessary subjects and topics related to the present scenario in various fields. It also organises seminars and research-related work for the students, and then they review the program to determine whether it has been successfully done or needs to be organised again. Hostels are awesome with all basic amenities, having nominal charges on a yearly basis, not more than Rs 5000. All rooms are shared on a basis of 2 persons with separate beds, chair, and table along with rake for book keeping.
Faculty: I am from commerce faculty and commerce faculty has the largest number of students in one class. There are 150 students in 1st semester only. The building of my faculty is an old building, and new building of commerce department is under construction near the Chemistry department. Teachers are good, and there is a good learning environment in my faculty.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: As it is compulsory to do industrial training after the third year, I did an internship at Bhilai Steel Plant. I learned a lot in the plant and visualized the real-time application of all the theories being taught in the classes. It was not a paid internship, so I didn't receive a stipend, even though I applied for the internship all by myself. In the field of internships, the college lags far behind other colleges. The students are on their own. The only help I received was from our seniors and some professors.
Infrastructure: There is a separate hostel for 1st-year students and the senior hostel. The 1st-year hostel is good, but the senior hostels are not that great. However, the good news is that the hostels were renovated and most of the issues have been overcome. The fee for the hostel is reasonable. I am interested in Economics as a domain and want to pursue public policy. The student-to-teacher ratio is 1:5. The faculty is experienced and qualified as per UGC guidelines. The teaching methods were quite good, encouraged us to ask doubts, and showed interest in assisting during research work.
Faculty: The course is, no doubt, good and the syllabus is in accordance with the GATE syllabus and other competitive exams in the technical field, but being situated in a small city, the curriculum is mostly confined to the theoretical. There are three courses in each semester, and there is also an optional course to be pursued in the second semester. In each of the second-year semesters, four optional courses must be completed. Details about the courses can be seen on the college website. The end-term exams are usually problem-solving rather than essay-based (for most courses).

It is the best university for Ma in Economics.
Placements: The placement cell at my college provides training and placement services for students. Over 65% of students were placed in our college. Many companies like MS visited our college. The highest annual package was 8 Lacs, and the lowest was 3 Lacs. 25% of students got internships outside the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent, and our college has good facilities. They provide food in the college and hostel, cultural programs are organized every semester and sports are played. There is also hostel facility for the students. The food in the mess and canteen is good.
Faculty: The teachers in the department are very kind and helpful. The teachers have good qualifications and knowledge in teaching and explaining the concepts. Our courses are syllabus-relevant, which makes us industry-ready. The semester exams in this course are not very difficult. The pass rate is 55% marks.

    Everything is average here.
Placements: Not many placements are provided, but I'm a political science student here, and we got placements from some NGOs this year. Around 15 students got placed out of 75. They got a minimum package of 30,000. Our department just started providing internships and placements.
Infrastructure: Everything is average, and it's not like how CU should be. It is not well-furnished, and everything is average. The food provided in the hostel is below average. The hostel rules are strict. You have to take permission to go out to fill your water bottle.
Faculty: I'm a political science student, and I must admire them because they are good at teaching. The teachers in our political science department are really helpful, and I don't know about other branches.
Other: The college is not up to my expectations.

Our experience in this college and recommendations that may help others.
Placements: Around 40% of students were placed. Most of the students of this course don't go to campus, instead start to prepare for NET JRF from 1st year itself as a professorship and lectureship was a very respectable and well-paid profession. But maximum of them go for internships to understand their selected professors. Students had to maintain a good image in order to get readily accepted for internships course and get good marks in the course at the end. Dissertation places a big role in it. Make an impressive and presentable dissertation and no one can stop students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good, cleanliness and hygiene were better than many colleges. A proper code of conduct and behavior was followed. Laboratories, classrooms, and library were good. Especially library was well collected. Hostel mess was average and rooms were satisfactory, canteen food was worth it. Sports and games were encouraged, but it depends on the student at the end to manage sports with studies. As professors were strict regarding their subjects. So if students can manage both.
Faculty: Professors were helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was formed properly by keeping in mind other competitive exams and knowledge altogether. Exams patterns were not constant, they can average to moderate to difficult according to the mood of professors making the paper. If students were punctual and consistent in their studies along with having a good image in front of professors. No one can stop students from scoring high percentage. The pass percentage was 35.5%, and the highest is 99.6%.
Other: I opted for this course because I find this subject fascinating and my future plan, and to become a professor by qualifying NET JRF. All the subjects in M.A were scoring, if studied and revised properly. Hostel mess food must be improved, as my experience was good. Events, fests were well organised with no violation of the code of conduct and maintaining proper decency. Only college students, staff, professors, and acquaintances of students was limited numbers were allowed to attend it. Proper security was given.

Absolutely good college for this course.
Placements: For this course, placements are very low. Students mostly get jobs in different colleges and universities as assistant professors. Some students opted for Ph.D. For internship, there is a 6-month compulsory internship in government colleges as guest lecturer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus with CCTV security. Labs are spacious. Classrooms are good and digitally updated. Hostels are 2-seated or 3-seated rooms. Mess food is average. Library is good but has timings. There are different indoor and outdoor grounds for different sports.
Faculty: The teaching staff has an excellent educational background, but the professor makes the Ph.D. scholar teach rather than teaching themselves. The course provides real-world experience in a theoretical manner, which helps me to get an overview of the real world. The curriculum also offers an internship session, which helps to get practical experience on what you have studied so far. The course needs a bit of improvement in the field of teaching the concepts.
