GGV - A Considerably Good University.
Placements: Almost 70% of students were placed before my batch, but there was no mention of the packages or companies because my course isn't very popular with big companies. We are offered internships in many places every year, both online and offline.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi in all departments, and it always works. It's good, we can log in with our enrollment ID. Some classrooms are new, and some are old. We have an integrated big library named Nalanda Central Library. There is everything available, from AC to copying services. The mess food is also of good quality, and we have small Nescafés, Amul, and a separate canteen too. It's very good, and sports and games are organized every now and then in our playground.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified and knowledgeable, and they are very helpful too. They are some of the best ones you can get, except for the subject I chose in the education department, where I didn't have a very great experience. Otherwise, every other teacher is well qualified. The curriculum is according to NEP 2020, and they are following it very well, which makes the students industry-ready. According to my seniors, the semester exam is moderate, and the passing percentage is 40% out of 100 marks.
Other: I chose this course because I am from a commerce background and pursuing a CA course, so the subjects are relevant to me. Everything is good except that they sometimes cancel classes daily. Events, fests, crowd connectivity, and extracurricular activities are top-notch, and it's fun.

It provides affordable education with average facilities.
Placements: Placements: Placements at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya are very limited for courses like B. Com and other general programs. In my batch hardly any students are placed through campus recruitment. Very few companies visit the campus and there is no strong placement support. Students mostly depend on off-campus opportunities and self-efforts for jobs and internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average but usable. Classrooms are spacious but many need better maintenance and modern teaching equipment. The library is large and has enough books for academic use though digital resources are limited. Wi-Fi is available on campus but the speed and connectivity are not consistent. Hostel facilities are basic, rooms are decent but overcrowding is an issue. Mess food quality is average and repetitive. Medical facilities are basic, and sports facilities are available but not well-maintained.
Faculty: The faculty are helpful, experienced, and knowledgeable. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and support students during exams. The curriculum is mostly theoretical and needs more practical and industry-oriented content to make students job-ready. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty and students who attend classes regularly can pass without much trouble. The overall pass percentage is good but students need self-study and extra skills for better career opportunities beyond academics.
Other: Affordable course with a peaceful campus, helpful faculty, scholarships available but practical exposure needs improvement.

To pursue B.Com - LLB, you must have completed 12th with minimum 60%. Then, apply for CUET, CLAT or university specified test for getting admission in a recognised university. You must score nearly 500 marks in CUET for getting B.Com - LLB.
