Review of Guru Kashi University.

Placements: The placement cell was established in the previous year for the purpose of providing placement assistance to the graduating students. In our batch, 7 students out of 28 got placements in different companies like Piramal Capital and Housing Finance Limited, ICICI Lombard, IFFCO-MC, Shriram Agrochemicals, etc. The average salary package lies between 3.00 LPA and 6.00 LPA. Our course has great scope in agriculture-related industries and companies, including agrochemicals, agri-advisories, banks, and government offices.

Infrastructure: The department of agriculture has a four-storied building with smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, a computer hall, and a seminar hall. It also has a library with access to all agricultural research papers, magazines, books, and journals. Limited Wi-Fi is available for students. Hostels are near the department so that hostelers don't face issues while coming to classes. Hostels have both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms as per our choice. Good food is available in the mess three times a day.

Faculty: The department has well-qualified, experienced, and helpful faculty members. The educational system is based on experimental learning. All the practicals are performed by students under the supervision of teachers in labs and fields. The college follows the course curriculum as per the instructions of Indian Council of Agriculture Research, New Delhi. Two mid-semester exams are conducted per semester to assess our learning abilities.

Other: Guru Kashi University is the only private university in the region that is duly accredited by Indian Council for Agriculture Research, New Delhi and Punjab State Council for Agriculture Education.
