It is not the richest, but it is fun and useful.

Placements: I am still in my second year only. The only placement review I got was said to be average from some random senior who might be trolling, but I have chosen average or three-star view out of 5, so as not to have much effect on other reviews and not give a wrong idea to others.

Infrastructure: College department labs are quite resourceful with useful equipment and manuals. The department and central library also have a studious environment, while classrooms are a little out of date. The latest build hostel is the best, while others have delayed complaint response, and a few miscellaneous others have only problems.

Faculty: Ignoring subjects like the constitution of India and universal human values, the curriculum is seemingly pretty useful. Exams are reasonably hard. Faculty members are also very helpful and friendly, with teachers being very knowledgeable about their respective subjects and related subjects as well.

An amazing college at very low fees charges.

Placements: The maximum package that the college gives us is 12 LPA. But definitely, if you're strong at academics and other things, you can achieve even more, but you have to go off campus. A student got a package of 25 LPA off-campus. But in the coming time, there will be a lot of increase.

Infrastructure: As good as government college facilities are available, of course cannot compete with the private colleges. But for the fee they charge, the facilities are up to the mark. You get everything necessary for college, but not even what is not needed.

Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified, having experience of more than 30 years and well-experienced, holding degrees from IITs and many research papers. It's purely up to the student how well he utilises the time.

Other: For extracurricular activities, it is up to the students how active they are. Everyone gets an equal chance to get up. It is not only for the students who are doing well, but also for students who want to try. Teachers are very supportive. The fee charges are very low, and are very good for students who can't afford expensive colleges.

Placement is decent here. So, it could be improved.

Placements: In the session of 2024-25, there are 75% students got placements in CSE in startup and non-technical companies. The highest package in this session 2025 was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. If we come to average, it is around 4.5 LPA. 60% of students got internship opportunity offered by startup companies. Roles offered are system analyst, full-stack developer, and senior testing engineer.

Infrastructure: College building and its infrastructure are designed in the style of old palace which looks very authentic. Lawn is very good. Hostels are available both in AC and non-AC for students. Campus has fully Wi-Fi covered facility. Food and mess are very good. There is also a dispensary for students to give them first aid and immediate response to curve students. There are hockey court, a huge cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court, kabaddi court, and badminton court. Indoor stadium is also available. Labs are well-equipped with modern computers, machines, and tools.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and student-friendly. All the faculty members are well-educated and full of knowledge. They understand every student's view. Curriculum is relevant, and exams are a little bit tough. If our credit is below 15, we can face backlogs.

Other: I am a student of computer science and engineering at a private university. This should be very helpful to us. Our classmates like to improve the college curriculum to be more technical and practical. Here, every day is a festival. Seminar hall is fully occupied with event guests. Extracurricular activities are also conducted like Gidhha, Bhangra dance, and other all cultural festivals celebrated here.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (also known as MRSPTU) is a public university, established in 2015 in Bathinda, Punjab. MRSPTU is approved by PCI, AICTE and CoA and offers a total of 89 courses at UG, PG and Certificate levels in 29 specialisations such as Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Textile Engineering. The mode of MRSPTU course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and the accepted entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are CMAT, MAT, CAT, XAT, GAT (PGT), and others. Candidates applying through the CAT or other accepted entrance exams must first register for the CAT exam. Q: How can I get admission at MRSPTU?

MRSPTU offers admission to most of the programmes based on merit. The university considers the scores of the candidates in the qualifying exam for admission. MRSPTU selects candidates for BTech and BArch based on entrance exam scores. The university accepts JEE Main for BTech and NATA for BArch. Selected candidates are required to participate in online counselling rounds for a seat in the university.

Q: What is the admission process for MBA at MRSPTU?

Admission to MBA programme at MRSPTU is done on the basis of CMAT exam merit list. However, it is not mandatory to appear for CMAT as admissions are also given on the basis of candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination. Selection to other courses is done on the basis of marks of the qualifying examination.

The college is good and excellent. Good facilities are provided.

Placements: In this college, 40 to 50% of students are placed from campus, but students who are in interviews with full knowledge have the highest package offer in this college of 10 LPA. Many students are not placed from this college, and skills are required to get placed in top companies like Google, Accenture, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities of this college include a van facility for students who are from different places, and the infrastructure of this college is good. The college is a fully AC campus with libraries, classrooms, etc. Wi-Fi is available on this campus, and the food facilities are good in the hostel. Sports are good.

Faculty: Teachers of this college are helpful, like the principal and mentors. They are well qualified and knowledgeable about courses and provide different opportunities to build a great career in the future. Semester exams are not difficult; students who learn can pass the exam, and the pass percentage is 40 percent.

Other: This B. Tech CSE course is a good and knowledgeable course for placements in big MNCs, but skills are most important, like coding and others. Events in this college are conducted, and fests like Vibgyor are held, with a full crowd. Scholarships are available for SC students and other PMSS students, so this is a good college.

I will say one thing, this is the best college. Take admission here.

Placements: There were too many students at the college. One of the most leading colleges in the whole area. The package was very affordable for everyone and also free for the orphans and EWS. Top recruiting companies visit our college every year for placements. Many students were selected for placements. From my batch approximately, 75% of students got placements. In my course, all the practicals were done properly.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were incredible. Everything was excellent, and they took care of the students well. Hostel was on the side of college with a good environment and healthy food. The wardens there were very helpful and took care of every student like they were in their home.

Faculty: Teachers of mechanical department were the best. They guided us well and helped us fully. If we ask them a question 100 times, they will answer with full energy. This course curriculum was relevant, one of the best. Exams were moderate. Pass percentage was 40%.

Other: I personally like mechanical engineering and Aryans College is best for this so I chose Aryans. Events were the best way to relax and provided happiness. Surroundings were like heaven. It was fun there.

Placements: In our area, like the Malwa region, I think it is the best college for study placements and many events. Packages offered to students are much higher, and famous companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. Many students get internships during their studies, and if someone has any skills apart from their studies, then the college also tries to give them placement.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and hostels are well-structured with AC and all other essential facilities. Transport facilities are offered at cheap fares. 4-5 canteens are in college, maintaining hygiene. Sports events are conducted every year. Medical facilities with first aid kits, etc., are available. Labs and Wi-Fi facilities are available in the entire college.

Faculty: Exams are conducted in a way similar to how expensive colleges are conducted. Teachers are very polite and handle every situation, and are supportive. There are qualified and experienced teachers. College also offers many scholarships and supports BPL students. The exam's difficulty is moderate.

Other: I would like to say that if anybody wants a better college in the Malwa region, they should try this one.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, and exams are good. Faculty support us well, and they provide opportunities for students to boost their careers in life. Semester exams are average. Pass percentage is 40% to pass the exam. Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful in careers.
