Good ground and computer lab. Bad below average Placement in 2022.

Placements: 25 percentage of student were placed from our college. The lowest package is 3.50 LPA, average package is 5 LPA and the highest package is 17 LPA. 20 percent of student get internship. TCS, Accenture, Infosys, Josh etc. companies visit to our college. Junior engineer, database manager, full stack developer are roles that offer by our course.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi access only give to hostel student, Labs have a new computer. Grounds are good but sweepers not regularly clean the ground it only cleans when there is any festival in college. Library is clean and have a lots of books that you should read. Canteen's condition is average.

Faculty: You need to do self study teacher do not help much if you can't help yourself. Semester exams are average. But if you want to score good then do self study. You do not need to tensed of markets just need to prepare for placement because none of the teachers say to do this.

Other: I choose this course for better understanding of computer technology. Tech fest, mini sports and sports fest are organised by senior class in a year.

This college has a good environment and provides experienced staff.

Placements: Our college placements department is the best. Better placements opportunities are provided with better support and help. Placements offers are provided through email to the students via groups made by this university staff. If students want better placements opportunity, then they should score at least 7 CGPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the hostel is in good condition. Students do not have to care about the furniture, it is provided by the hostel authorities. Students cannot take electronics appliances for cooking or iron with them except a kettle to make maggi, tea, coffee, rice, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and experienced. Most teachers are Ph.D. holders. This university course curriculum is the best and up to mark. The semester examination difficulty level is moderate, and it is not hard enough to pass the examination.

Other: Tech fest, college trips, sports events, youth festivals, and mini competitions are conducted by this university.

It is the best college for learning in Gurdaspur.

Placements: Placements are good in CSE, no one is in ECE the only other available branch for B.Tech on our campus. For placements, our campus students go to GNDU Amritsar. So students get the opportunity to get placed in companies that come to hire students. TCS is the main recruiter. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2.4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good as in government colleges, not as good as private colleges. Hostels are good and not costly. Wi-Fi is available for hostelers only in hostels. Computer laboratories, classrooms, and library are also good. The canteen is also good but it is not large. Sports and games events are conducted but only once a year.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. Many are PhDs are there in our college. Semester exams are conducted in two phases minor of 20 marks, and major of 80 marks. Students need to study well for passing the exams. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: Our college provides full scholarships to SC students. Non-SC students can apply for fee concession in even semesters.

It has a good environment, education, and placements.

Placements: The placements provided by our university are up to the mark. Our seniors get placed in very good companies like TCS, TCS Ninja, Wipro, Nagar, Accenture, etc. Around 80% of students get placed in the previous year. Various roles offered are software development engineer, data engineer, and Network Engineer in well-known companies.

Infrastructure: Bhai Gurdas library is huge, and a large number of books is provided by this university. Wi-Fi facility is also provided to the students in the laboratories. There is a total of three laboratories in the B.Tech CSE department with a basic internet connection facility and desktop systems. Hostel rooms are also good. Various extracurricular activities are also associated with the teachers and students consecutively.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and lenient with students here. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders in our university, and the education provided here is also good. The course curriculum is also good, various advanced subjects like cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence, etc., are also in the syllabus. Exams took place after six months of duration regularly, and the difficulty level is average.

Other: Tech fest is conducted by this university timely. Youth fest is conducted by the main university, almost two to three participants from regional campuses can take part.

One of the best engineering colleges.

Placements: The placements are good. Last year about 300 students got selected in TCS. MNCs visit here for recruitment. Amazon visited with the package of 15 LPA. The average package is 3.75 LPA. Mass recruiter of our campus is TCS. Many startups with good salary package started visiting here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. We have programming labs, database labs, internet lab and those are well-equipped with the latest computer technology. We also have a library with the latest books. College also has a canteen. Canteen area is quite good, they provide good and hygienic food.

Faculty: Faculty are good. All professors are well-educated and expert in their fields. The course curriculum is very good. Professors make use of projectors, all kinds of visual and audio things for better understanding. Recently NAAC has accredited our university with A+ grade.

The university is good for the placement and teaching.

Placements: The placements for my senior batch is good. About 60% of the students are placed in the good multinational companies. The highest salary is above 2 LPA, and minimum salary is 1.5 LPA. The companies TCS, Infograin likes companies visit in university. The CGPA equal to or greater than 7 are selected for the interview.

Infrastructure: The university has a good, neat and clean classroom and separates buildings for the law, B.Tech, commerce, MBA. The university has proper labs for the computer science and electronic labs. The university has proper libraries for B.Tech, law, MBA and commerce in their respective buildings. The university has proper ground for cricket, football, baseball, basketball and badminton.

Faculty: The teachers of the university are highly qualified, and their knowledge is sufficient for the student to understand. The course is very useful for the future placement and help into success in our life. Each class contain proper ratio of the student.

I am satisfied, but the course curriculum must be updated with what companies are looking for.

Placements: Placements were decent. Many companies visited the campus, be it mass recruiters like TCS or other big MNCs like HCL, Amdocs, Adobe, etc. Around 97% of the batch got placed, and others opted out of the process. University prefers main campus students to be placed first, and then regional campus students get a chance which is partiality on their part.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good. Labs were well-maintained, and classrooms were big enough to accommodate the batch. The only problem was the availability of air-conditioners in classrooms. Wi-Fi was good with great speed, but the only drawback was that students were allowed to use it after college hours, which made it difficult to search for something during college hours.

Faculty: Some of the faculty members are well-experienced with a great skill set, but some were recent pass-out of the colleges. Faculty members had their own way of teaching with some flexibility which is much needed. Faculty members must be helpful enough to be approached for further education guidance, which is missing in current faculty members.

I suggest all the students do not take admission in this university.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Most of the students got placed in TCS. Other companies also visit our college for placements, but very few students get a chance in these companies. The main region to not get placement in these companies is teacher never suggest and tell how to get placement. They also not teach the main subject from where all the questions arise. Students prepare for placements on their own. Companies visit our campus for placements. We have to go on the main campus Amritsar where company visit and students show their talent.

Infrastructure: In my opinion, the infrastructure of our college is not good. All the things available are like an old age infrastructure. There are 2 playgrounds, but both are not good for playing because there is huge grass and no one take a risk to play. If you are going to visit B.Tech department, you will see that B.Com classes are conducted in the department. Classrooms are not good, and some classrooms have broken windows, and some have broken table. A fan is also running very slow with a projector in every class, but it is only for showoff. Lighting is also not good, and there is no proper light in the university.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, but some are not good. None of the teachers is going to teach. Only Saranjit sir and Harjot Kaur are best in this university. They follow their rules and regulations. They teach us daily by new video and also completed their syllabus at time. They come only to fulfil their duty. In spite of this, they do not understand the value of their subject in our life. Seminars are conducted every month of the weak. If you want to study very less, then it is a good university for you.

Other: The location of this university is very bad because there is nothing for eating and moving. The city is 2 kilometres away from the university, so it is very difficult for outside Punjab person to stay here because most of the students and teachers used the Punjabi language.
