The infrastructure at Rimt and the design.

Placements: The placement at Rimt University is well defined. More than 90% of students were enrolled in the company placement; the average package of the students was between 700,000 and 1,200,000 per annum based on their skills and performance in the interviews held.

Infrastructure: The hostel life in Rimt University is very good. The food quality is mid-range, and the menu of the mess is nearly updated every day. The canteen food is better, and medical as well as sports and other extracurricular activities are also available for the students residing in the hostel.

Faculty: The faculty here at Rimt is very friendly and helps students very well for future careers, and industry-based projects are taught to students. The exams per semester are not so difficult. The teachers are very well qualified and knowledgeable, helping students in every aspect.

College is normal and the fees is high.

Placements: Rimt university has average placement record. The companies which hire us give only 15k salary and they are local companies. They are not big companies. So placements are pretty average. Do not expect much in placements. Learn coding and try in companies outside.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good. It is average. The classes are not well developed. They are average like high schools. Hostels are very bad. Mess facility and washrooms are very bad. The rooms are not good.

Faculty: Teachers are good. Some teachers are good while some are arrogant. Course curriculum is related to the degree but it should be enhanced. Exams are very easy. They are mostly subjective type exams. They are very east to pass.

Dissatisfied because of placements, Not even a single prestigious company came for recruitment.

Placements: 40% placement record. The highest salary offered- 4.15 LPA, the lowest-1.4LPA, Avg. - 3LPA. Not even a single top recruiter came for placements. Internships are cancelled in MRSTTU and there are only 2 subjects in 8th semester. Software Tester is the top role offered in the college.

Infrastructure: AC labs, classrooms and library. No Wi-Fi. 5-6 Canteens which have nice food quality. Crowd is good and safety is ensured. Library is nice. Mess food -3/5 (It's an okay type food) Medical facilities- 2/5 ( Very poor). Sports and games -3/5 (Don't know much about it).

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Professionalism in teaching lacks. Practicals are not taken properly so the student is facing problem to cope up with the current scenario of the industry. Only some of all the teachers are knowledgeable and skillful.

Other: Computer Science engineering gives you vast opportunities.

RIMT is the best in-class in terms of quality education and infrastructure.

Placements: RIMT provides many placement opportunities for every student. TPO department has organised a number of campus placement drives every year for final year students. They also prepare students for interviews by providing special classes for interview preparation.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of RIMT is the best in class. Classrooms and labs are fully air-conditioned, and labs are equipped with the latest hardware and software. For a medical facility, there is a dispensary with a 24-hour doctor facility and ambulance. For sports activities, there are tennis courts, badminton courts, basketball court, football ground, cricket ground, and swimming pool for students within the campus. Food court and canteens have a variety of food for students at a reasonable price.

Faculty: Faculty of RIMT is well-qualified and very helpful. They use very advance teaching methodologies for lecture deliveries. For industry exposure, RIMT organises industrial visits for students. The course curriculum includes the latest technologies that are currently used in the industry, which helps the students to survive in the industry.

Other: Every year, three major events are organised for students, like a fresher party, star night, and annual function. Apart from this annual sports meet is also held. Campus crowd is very good, and it is well-connected with nearby cities with many modes of transportation. Scholarships are also available for eligible students.

Overall it is a good college. Good faculty to support and guide you even for future recommendations.

Placements: Not so many top-notch companies come for placements, but opportunities are definitely open. Placements and salary packages offered varies from company to company and even the stream you are in. I have seen my seniors getting placed in reputed companies with packages of 8 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in college is really good, be it anything like classrooms, library, medical facilities, and sports and games. The canteen food is very nice and delicious. There were no issues found on my part during my tenure at the college. Food in the mess was not good.

Faculty: Teachers were really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They guide you throughout even at personal levels. Teaching quality was good, and the teachers were very frank and helpful. The course curriculum was useful, and regular assignments and tests were included for development.

Other: Fests were really exciting. I performed every year for the event, and it's worth a watch.

Don't enroll here if you are looking for a college that wants its students to grow.

Placements: No good placements. Some dummy companies comes but they don't hire anyone. In our batch None of the students got placed from campus everyone had to go out and find jobs. So keep that in mind before enrollment. Just focus on you skillset and you will get a job.

Infrastructure: Average infrastructure. Hostels are good but mess food us very bad. Computers are outdated in labs. No good internet connection. Lab attendants are jerks. Good canteen. Ground is very big and good. Has swimming pool Have basketball court. Good bus service.

Faculty: Faculty is friendly in computer Science. But they lack practical knowledge of things. So they can't demonstrate cool things related to computer Science. Its an typical indian college where you won't get any practical knowledge. Your sole motive will he to get passing marks.

The RIMT's education for future.

Placements: There are awesome moments in RIMT University. All my teachers have greater experience in teaching. Their way teaching to the students is good. I got placed Venky Digital Company in Mohali in which this company is for online marketing called Digital marketing. I am in a role of digital marketing executive, and I'm satisfied with my job.

Infrastructure: RIMT University has all the facilities like games, Wi-Fi, computer labs, clean washrooms, and RO water. The teachers have good experience in computer practical programs. The hostels are awesome and have all the facilities like volleyball, basketball, cricket, baseball, etc.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and punctual. All teachers are in good dress form, and my friends are in different streams, and they say that all the teachers are good and well. The college helps the students, who have no money to study. The college provides attractive scholarships for the students.

University is good, but you have to improve education and security there.

Placements: When we talk about placements, a B.Tech student would expect big MNCs or maybe a startup, but they want to go for a technical job. I have joined many placement drives, 9 out of 10 were from BPO background, so no one could go. After studying hard for 4 years and spending so much money, we can not work for a BPO at Rs. 10,000-15,000. Placement is the main thing that needs to be improved in the university.

Infrastructure: The entire campus is not Wi-Fi enabled. If there is Wi-Fi, you cannot access it because it is user limited. There is poor Wi-Fi connectivity. The classrooms are good, but not maintained properly. The benches are full of dust all the time, and you have to clean them by yourself if you have to sit. The library is good, but it is difficult to find any book. Labs are not up to mark. The canteen food is good. You can get Chinese and North Indian food there.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but when we talk about practicals, they don't have any knowledge at all. We students need practical knowledge. The teachers have no knowledge about current things happening in the world or new technology. The teaching method is a traditional Indian method that we follow from the school. We just have to open the notebook and keep writing.

Other: The campus is surrounded by industries. The campus has a good crowd.
