Gurugram University BCom is given as an integrated course that is in a full-time mode. The integrated BCom + MCom course is an undergraduate program that combines a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with an MCom degree that lasts for five academic years. The cousre curriculum covers subjects related to commerce, finance, management, accounts, and taxation.

Admission to the BCom course is based on the merit of the qualifying exam. Candidates must have at least completed twelve years of school education to be eligible for the BCom + MCom integrated course. Therefore candidates must have a valid qualification to secure admission to the integrated course. The Gurugram University BCom eligibility criteria is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 examination from Board of School Education, Haryana or of any other Board recognized as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 45% aggregate (42.75% in case of SC/ST/ Divyang candidates of Haryana only).

Gurugram University BCom cousre admission 2025 will open soon. Candidates must complete the entire admission procedure as per the university admission guidelines. Before applying a valid qualification the BCOm course is required. Detailed information on the Gurugram University admission process is elaborated below:

Step 1: Gurugram University BCom Application Process 2024

Admission Process of Gurugram University begins with the online Application form. The application process is mainly conducted in online mode. Candidates are required to download the admission brochure and read it carefully before filling out the application form. Follow the below steps:

Step 1.1: Candidates are required to register themselves by clicking on the official website(https://gu.aimserp.co.in/gu-admissions/#/)

Step 1.2: After successfully registering on the admission portal, Candidates need to sign in and click on the “Apply now” button adjacent to the programme which prompts the login window on the screen.

Step 1.3: Now the online application form opens.

Step 1.4: Fill out the application form with the required details with all the admission-related documents

Step 1.5: To finally submit the application form, the user has to click on the checkbox for “I agree” against the T&C and click on “Verify and Submit”. Once clicked the User shall be redirected to the Payment Gateway, wherein the User has the feasibility to pay the application fee by UPI, Debit/Credit card, and Net banking options.

Step 1.6: Once the payment is completed, the candidates will be redirected to the admission portal and will have the option to download the admission form and the fee receipt.

Step 2: Selection Process

Gurugram University BCom+ MCom integrated cousre selection process includes shortlisting candidates based on their performance in the entrance exam/ past academic performance. Once candidates are shortlisted, the university releases the merit lists in multiple rounds.

Step 3: Merit lists

Students whose name is on the merit list are required to appear for physical counseling in the Department of Commerce.

Step 4: Final Admission

After the counselling, the department issues a provisional admission letter. The selected candidate has to deposit the Gurugram University BCom fee online within the stipulated time or else his/her seat will be considered vacant and the seat shall be offered to the next candidate. All admissions are provisional subject to verifications of documents and approval of Competent Authority.

Low chances of placements, but good infrastructure.

Placements: Low placements are offered by the university. Students have to prepare themselves for their further studies and future planning. The university only offers classes and exams and also has many other curricular activities on various occasions and festivals.

Infrastructure: In the university, classrooms are in good condition, with a neat and clean environment throughout the college. There is good space and greenery for relaxation. However, I am not sure about some areas needing improvement.

Faculty: The staff is good and cooperative. All the staff members are very helpful, except for one or two. However, the university may delay in the documentation work, such as physical mark sheets and course degrees, depending on their results.

Other: There is a good crowd, but not in class.

Not good for admission in the commerce and management department.

Placements: No activities are organized by the department for placement. In the previous year, the placement rate was very low, and the department does nothing about this. Whenever placement questions are asked, the department ignores all inquiries. If we want to find a job, we need to seek it ourselves.

Infrastructure: No infrastructure is provided. Some temporary sheds are made for the commerce and management department, and there is no classroom provided for the M.Com integrated program. When problems are raised by students, the faculty simply ignores the issues and does nothing about them.

Faculty: The teachers are better qualified, and exams are managed by the university examination department. However, in my opinion, no one should take admission in this college. It has been one of the worst experiences for me. Nothing is organized here, and the campus looks like a construction site.

Other: There are no events, and the campus situation for the commerce and management department is very poor. The commerce and management department is separate from the university and is located in another area that resembles a construction site.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Our campus is huge. Basketball courts, cricket, and football ground are available. A volleyball court is also available. Our college has a separate building and the canteen facility is better. I would rate it 5 out of 5.

Faculty: Our teachers are humble and kind. They are also well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. There are many assignments for students. Semester exams are also moderate.

I am satisfied with the knowledge provided in this college.

Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Around 50% of students got internships at our college. Top roles offered are HR, CSR, operator, and account executive.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure provided for our course were very good, with good classrooms and a library. The quality of food served in our college canteen was good. Boys' and girls' hostels were available in our college.

Faculty: Teaching quality in our college was very good. Teachers in our course were very helpful, kind, well qualified, and provided great knowledge that was useful in life. The course curriculum was manageable for students. Semester exams were not difficult. The pass percentage was 30%.
