In recent times, a government job is more preferable than a private job. After completing a four-year BPharm degree course candidates have various options that they can pursue, such as Govt. hospital Pharmacist, Drug Inspector, Drug squad in police, Drug squad in police, Regulatory Affairs Officer, etc. To get these job roles candidates are required to qualify for government exams, such as UPSC, SPSC, SSC, etc. 

Unfortunately, one cannot become a doctor after graduating from B Pharmacy form IEC University. Because Pharmacy is not synonymous with being a Doctor. One must first complete an MBBS, BDS, or Ayush Doctor programme before one becomes a doctor. BAMS,  BHMS,  BUMS, and additional minimum education certification requirements exist.  

To become a doctor, candidates must pursue MBBS. Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery is the full form of MBBS. An MBBS degree is a four-year undergraduate programme for students who desire to pursue their dream of becoming doctors. It is a Medical Science professional degree. The MBBS programme consists of five years of study in 19 Medical courses, followed by six months of internship.

Admission to IEC University is based on the following criteria: 

• For B.Tech, a minimum of 50% in 10+2 or a valid rank/score in JEE Main or HPCET is required.
• A minimum of 45% in 10+2 (45% for SC/ST) from a recognised board
• A JEE Main/HPCET score
• A MAT/CMAT/CAT/XAT rank/score for management programs

IEC University admission is dependent on merit or an entrance exam. Following selection, candidates must attend counseling.

Yes, candidates are allowed to pursue a Diploma in Pharmacy course after completing their BSc degree. However, it's important to note that the transition from a Science-related field like BSc to pharmacy may involve a significant shift in subjects and career focus. Candidates might need to fulfill certain prerequisites or additional requirements to enroll in a DPharm programme since the subjects studied in BSc and pharmacy are quite different.
