IIITDM Jabalpur Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Companies

According to unofficial online sources, a large share of IIIT Jabalpur alumni is working in the Engineering sector with a 43% share. The other top sectors involving most alumni are Education and Research. The detailed sector-wise distribution of alumni is illustrated below:

The institute has not released the IIIT Jabalpur CSE average package or other placement details. However, the overall data has been released. As per the report, over 90 companies took participation in 2024 placements and rolled out more than 284 job offers. Further, 65% of the students received a salary above INR 10 LPA. The highest domestic package stood at INR 110 LPA. This year, 3 students received international offers with the highest international package recorded at INR 122 LPA. The average package recorded for UG and PG courses was INR 19.27 LPA and INR 12.54 LPA, respectively. In addition to this, the highest package for PG courses stood at INR 18.44 LPA.

The institute has a good placement record. However, a declining trend was observed in the total number of offers made over the past three years (2022 to 2024). After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. IIITDM Jabalpur MTech 2025 academic calendar has not been released yet. However, as per the last year batch in 2024, classes started on Aug 12, 2024. Therefore, students can expect classes for this year to start around the same date. 

To apply for IIITDM Jabalpur M.Tech admission 2025, candidates are required to follow certain steps, such as filling out the form, uploading the relevant details, paying the application fees, getting selected in the merit list paying the course fees, etc. Check out the basic steps for admission below:

Yes, you can get admission at  IIITDM Jabalpur with a rank of 40K if you belong to the General All India category. This category had the overall cutoff rank ranging from 13297 to 64090. Hence, yes, admissions are possible with this rank for the General AI category. 

For the OBC AI category, admissions are also possible due to the last round cutoff being 64779. Please remember that other categories will have different qualifying cutoffs accordingly. 

The students at IIITDM have access to excellent career opportunities, supportive faculty members, and a great campus life. Admissions to BTech are based on the JEE Main entrance exam. The applicants who score well in the JEE Mains will be considered for admission. The programme offers four specializations that span four years, with a full-time tuition cost of INR 5.22 Lakh. The eligibility criterion requires a minimum of 75% in class 12, and candidates must have a valid score in JEE Mains to be admitted to IIITDM. The average package for undergraduate courses in 2023 was INR 21.63 LPA. MHRD decides the MCM Scholarship amount for general and SC/ST students, with the Institute's Board of Governors approving it. Currently, both categories receive INR 1000/- per month, along with a tuition waiver, also known as Freeship.

 IIITDM Jabalpur UCEED cutoff 2025 for rounds 1 and 2 has been released for different categories of students. For the General AI category candidates, the  IIITDM Jabalpur B.Des cutoff 2025 was 144 in the first round and jumped to a rank of 162 in the second round. Candidates aiming for admission to the B.Des course must attain a rank of 162 or lower to increase their chances for admission at IIITDM Jabalpur. OBC AI students need to attain ranks within the range of 4946 and 81973. Students should know that other All India categories will have different qualifying cutoffs.

JEE Main is conducted in two sessions each year, with session 2 usually held in April.
