Placements: 70 percent of students were placed during college placements. The highest package was ₹25 LPA, the lowest was ₹3 LPA, and the average package was ₹5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Daimler, and Infosys. Around 20 percent of students got internships, with the top roles offered being Graduate Engineer Trainee and Software Developer.
Placements: 69% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered so far is 13 LPA, while the lowest package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS Ninja, L&T, and Reliance. Internships in our branch are negligible; only a few students received internships last year. The roles offered include consultant and civil engineer positions.
Placements: You can apply for full-time roles in college (on-campus) from the 7th semester because many companies start hiring from this semester. Top companies like Microsoft, JP Morgan, BNY Mellon, Wells Fargo, etc., take students mostly from the Computer Science branch.
Placements: Particularly here, everybody is running after software roles and software placements. There are almost no people in the core. On average, 73% of students were placed last year. This year, placements are ongoing. The highest package was 51 LPA and the lowest was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Accenture, Salesforce, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, PWC, Zomato, etc. Particularly, last year biotech placements were not good. Placements: Percentage of students placed in B.Tech. civil engineering is 78.69%. The highest package offered till now is 13.62 LPA and the lowest package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS Ninja, Delhivery, ICICI bank, Deloitte, EXL service, Reliance Retail, etc. For my course, many companies also came but didn't give internship as much I know. And core companies are not yet visited for internship.
Placements: Placements for EE students are quite good in NIT DGP. EE ranks second among all branches in percentage of student placed and average package. Top roles include SDE, GET, etc. Almost all the companies are open for EE ( core, tech, etc.). And same goes for internships too. Students in 3rd year can opt for internships in the respective companies of their domain.
Placements: The placements at NIT Durgapur are excellent and top-notch. The highest package is around 75 LPA and the average package is around 15 LPA. The lowest package was around 7 LPA. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Salesforce and Qualcomm, who visit the campus for placements.
Placements: Placement is very bad, especially for our department. Biotechnology core companies are very few; most placement is done for B.Tech students, especially CS-aligned branches. The highest CTC is 56 LPA, and we do not get that even in dreams. Our package starts at 4 LPA, and the highest is 11.2 LPA. Some people get jobs in some other field, not in biotechnology.
