Marks / CGPA / CPI in qualifying degree:
For GN/EWS/OBC (NC) category: a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate, or a First Class as specified by the University, or a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) / Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.0 on the scale of 0-10.
For SC/ST/PwD category: a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate, or a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) / Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 5.5 on the scale of 0-10.
C&idates having two years of relevant work experience are exempted from the requirement of GATE score, provided their c&idature is sponsored by the employer. They are not eligible for the award of Teaching/Research Assistantship.
