The IIT Bombay offers admission to the M.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering (Aerospace Propulsion) course based on a valid GATE score in any discipline. Candidates having two years of relevant work experience are exempted from the requirement of a GATE score, provided their candidature is sponsored by the employer. They are not eligible for the award of Teaching/Research Assistantship. The eligibility criteria for admission to the M.Tech. programme in Aerospace Engineering include a first-class or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) in a Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent) in any recognised branch of engineering or technology.
