Yes, there are exceptions to the 60% eligibility requirement for admission to Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay. For SC/ST/PwD category, a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate is required. Additionally, candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Science (BS) (4 year degree) from IITs with CGPA/CPI of 8.00 (on 0-10 scale) or above are exempt from the GATE score requirement. Commissioned officers of the armed forces are also exempt from the GATE score requirement. It is also mentioned that the Center may additionally conduct a written test and/or an interview for all applicants to shortlist candidates to be selected. Therefore, the exceptions to the 60% eligibility requirement include SC/ST/PwD category candidates, IIT graduates with a CGPA/CPI of 8.00 or above, and commissioned officers of the armed forces.
