To get admission in PhD course at IIT Bombay, candidates first need to fill out the application form. Aspirants who have completed a Bachelor or Masters or equivalent degree in Engineering/ Technology or master's or equivalent degree in Science or Arts/ Commerce with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD category) are eligible to apply for PhD course. Placements at IDC IIT BOMBAY In Bachelor in Design are quite nice. They provide you with an internship but it depends on one's skills. Almost 80-90% of students have got the placements. The highest package offered in 2024 was INR 24 LPA and the average package was around INR 10 LPA. Some top companies that visit the college for placement every year are TCS, Infosys, etc. There are a lot of industry tie-ups and in-house projects which some students opt in for.
