Absolutely satisfied with faculty members and good experience.

Placements: Everyone in our class got selected by good companies. Even though colleges could try to get top companies, they are bringing just decent companies. But after every batch, this apprenticeship opportunity is getting better.

The new style of education with IMU Visakhapatnam.

Placements: In Indian Maritime University, Visakhapatnam, I'm studying BBA logistics, and it is an apprenticeship-based course. The total there are 6 semesters (3 years). The first 4 semesters are class programs only, and the last year is an apprenticeship. The highlight of these courses is that they are core-based courses. And for completing these courses, we get a package of 3.20 LPA. It is a LSC (logistics skill council) like course. Therefore, all companies that are listed under these courses will also ...

It’s really good because it is apprenticeship-embedded

Placements: If we are talking about the placements, it is pretty good, but the CTC is not up to the mark. 100% of the people got internships, and after that, placement was also 100%, but only a few companies came for placement like OM Logistics and other logistical companies. They offer roles like warehouse executive, operations executive, logistics coordinator, and so on.

Decent and affordable option to study Naval Architecture.

Placements: Really hardworking placement. Though it's an exclusive industry, the placement cell tries their best to get the student placed. Ship design firms are the primary recruiters. Consider yourself blessed if classification societies and big shipyards show up.

Amazing environment for those who are interested in academics.

Placements: I have enrolled in a B.Teach in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding. My batch strength is 50 students; however, there is another batch of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering with 50 students. The first-year batch consists of 100 students, 50 in shipbuilding and 50 in ocean engineering. Most of the students get internships in firms like Vedam located in Mumbai or different shipyards in the third year of their course. We have a placement record of 95 percent as of this year, and some students...

The best college for people interested in ship construction. The best for placements.

Placements: 96% of students were placed in good companies. The highest package offered was ₹60,000 per month for an on-site surveyor and ₹50,000 for designers. The top recruiting companies are IRS, L&T, CYBER MARINE, etc. The top roles offered by this course are on-site surveyor, ship designer, marine structure architect, etc.
