IIFT Delhi's admission process is both merit-based as well as entrance-based. For MBA, candidates are required to clear the IIFT entrance examination which is conducted by NTA on behalf of IIFT. For clearing this exam, candidates must practice the IIFT question papers and must give the IIFT mock test . For the remaining postgraduate programmes, admission is merit-based. For Ph.D. the admission is done based on a written test and an interview round conducted by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Candidates must follow a predefined admission process to get admission to various courses at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
Candidates with a valid BA/or equivalent degree with Maths/ Economics as a subject and at least 55% aggregate can apply for MA in IIFT Delhi. Eligible candidates can apply by filling out the admission form. The application fee is INR 2,500 for the General category or INR 1,000 for the Reserved category for PG courses at IIFT Delhi. This fee is, however, as per past years’ data and may vary. The steps mentioned below can be followed to register and submit the application:

Yes, IIFT releases cutoff lists category-wise. The cutoff also varies for MBA-International Business and Business Analytics admission. For General category, the IIFT cut off is higher than that for Reserved category students. For example, IIFT 2022 cut off for General category candidates was 52.75 but for SC/ST candidates, it was 42.75. in 2023, the qualifying cut off was 35 percentile for General-EWS and NC-OBC categories, it is 35 percentile. Yes, the part-time PhD course candidates need to visit the IIFT Delhi campus on weekends. The classes are conducted for this course on weekends at the institute. It is necessary that the enrolled candidates take classes and appear for them as per the schedule given by the institute. The schedule is provided by IIFT. It shall be uploaded on its official website (iift.ac.in) as well. Aspirants can also visit the campus in person to enquire regarding the same.

That is why the institute releases sectional cut offs as well for shortlisting of candidates for the personality assessment round of the MBA admission process.
