IIIT Bangalore Admissions 2026: Last Date, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process

IIIT Bangalore offers a one-year Post Graduate Programme in Digital Product Design and Management. This is a full-time course delivered in on-campus mode. The course usually begins in June-July. Yes, International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore conducts a written test for MSc students. The test is conducted in online mode and includes below-mentioned four sections:

For IIITB PG Diploma admission, candidates should have a valid Bachelor's or an equivalent degree in science/engineering/business administration/commerce/mathematics/computer applications or a Master’s degree in mathematics/statistics/commerce with at least 50% aggregate. 

This aggregate is as per past records and can vary. Student should have passed the qualifying exam from a recognised university. The degree course mark sheets along with other documents have to be presented for verification purposes.

No, you cannot to be admitted to the third round of this institute with a score of 600 if you belong to the General AI category. The cut off score for the General AI category for the M.Tech. Artificial Intelligence & Data Science programme is 614.

JEE Mains 2026 has been concluded. Session 2 of JEE Mains was held from April 2 to 9. 

When I was looking into IIIT Bangalore, I specifically checked if they had any fee waiver for PwD students, but unfortunately, they don't offer any dedicated scholarship or tuition waiver specifically for PwD category in the B.Tech or Integrated M.Tech programs.

They do have some merit-based scholarships, like for students with top JEE Main ranks or for those who maintain a high CGPA once they're in the program. There's also a scholarship for top-performing girls, but nothing focused on helping PwD students financially from the institute's side.

So if you're from the PwD category and hoping for a fee waiver like in NITs or IITs, IIIT-B might disappoint you on that front. You'd probably have to look into external scholarships or government schemes to manage the finances.

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bangalore does not have management quota seats for its B.Tech programs. Admissions are based on entrance exam scores, academic performance, and interviews. Eligible entrance exams include JEE Main, CAT, TISSNET, CEED, and CUET. The institute offers a four-year B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. There is also a five-year integrated M.Tech programme available in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
