Utkarsha Scholarship 2024: 100% Tuition Fee Waiver from IIIT-B for Top Rankers in JEE Mains!
IIIT-B has received sponsorship for 100% Tuition Fee waiver for FIVE top performing JEE rank holders who join IIIT-B's flagship 4-Year B.Tech. or 5-year I.M.Tech. programme. Those who have obtained JEE Mains NTA CRL Rank of 999 or better are eligible for this unique Tuition Waiver scheme.
Dean’s List Scholarship: students are selected for Merit-based Scholarships on the basis of the Dean’s List promulgated by the office of Deans every year. In case of B.Tech. and I.M.Tech. students, the students have to score 3.6 CGPA or more to get enlisted in the Dean’s List. Depending upon the availability of funds for scholarship each year, a certain percentage of students from the Dean’s List for Integrated M Tech students are awarded a scholarship of Rs 50,000/- per year.

IIIT Bangalore fee structure is cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fees, caution money, and more. Students have to pay the first semester fees or the prescribed amount to lock their seats. IIIT Bangalore BTech-MTech in CSE fee structure is as follows:

For M.Tech admission, the IIIT Bangalore GATE COAP cutoff 2026 has been released for Round 1, wherein the cutoff scores varied between 609 and 653 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the branch-wise Round 1 cutoff details.

No, candiadtes cannit apply offline at IIIT Bangalore. Applicants must fulfil the course-specific eligibility and fill the application form online on the official admission portal of IIIT Bangalore. Caniddates have to pay an application fee of INR 1000 at the time of form submission.

When I was looking into IIIT Bangalore, I specifically checked if they had any fee waiver for PwD students, but unfortunately, they don't offer any dedicated scholarship or tuition waiver specifically for PwD category in the B.Tech or Integrated M.Tech programs.
They do have some merit-based scholarships, like for students with top JEE Main ranks or for those who maintain a high CGPA once they're in the program. There's also a scholarship for top-performing girls, but nothing focused on helping PwD students financially from the institute's side.
So if you're from the PwD category and hoping for a fee waiver like in NITs or IITs, IIIT-B might disappoint you on that front. You'd probably have to look into external scholarships or government schemes to manage the finances.
