Everything depends on you, just be ready with self-preparation and do well in your career.
Placements: According to me placements in my college CMRIT is ok and above average because I am currently in the 2nd year of the CSE branch, and from our branch the last year almost 30 to 40 students got placed from the 300 students. They also have their own TYL-like criteria where you need to attend and clear all aptitude exams, technical programming tests, and soft skills sessions. If you didn't clear then they will definitely not allow you to sit in the placement drive when the company visits. So decide before getting into this college. So before getting into this college please think and decide once about placement. I already told you what happened if your CGPA is above 8.5 and if you are good at skills like coding you can earn a 14 LPA package.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure, labs, Wi-Fi connection, and hostel facilities are good and fine.
Faculty: See this CMRIT College is not too much good as you expect. New Horizon and the other colleges like MS Ramaih and Nitte Meenakshi are far better than this college. Coming to faculty teachers and exams, everything is deepened by your teachers. Some of them teach well, and some are boring and not satisfying and don't hope that they will give you industry-ready skills. You should make it by yourself and as our college is handled only by VTU, 2 internals will be conducted from the college side for all semesters and in the same way you have the VTU exam.
Other: I chose computer science hoping that placement opportunities are better but I don't know some of them say good placements are there some of them no we can't trust anyone. So overall according to me college doesn't matter but if you choose this college then from the first semester itself, try to clear all theory levels and prepare your skills by yourself, using resources you can get from anywhere, YouTube, Instagram, and many more. So, do self-preparation and be ready at the beginning of the 6th semester, your career will start.

Review after 6 months in CMRIT, Bangalore. Exceed the expectations.
Placements: The placement opportunities are there for sure, but you need to claim them. We see a lot of companies coming to the campus for hiring, and the states are pretty decent as well. Not sure of how many percent of students got placed, but it is quite good, as told by seniors. The highest package is around 44 LPA, the lowest could be around 4 LPA-5 LPA. While the average could be 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Belc Hitachi, Thermo Fischer, etc. Currently, we are in the 1st semester, so I have no idea about an internship. Top roles include SDE, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is extremely beautiful, both interior and exterior. Wi-Fi is available as campus Wi-Fi. Labs are available for the subjects Python, C, Maths, Chemistry, and Physics in our department. There are also CAD labs. Classrooms have a conventional green board and a smart board. The library is extremely good, and most of my time goes there.
Faculty: Faculty members behave very nicely with all students, and their behaviour is something to appreciate for sure. They are extremely helpful for all your academic doubts. The course has many extra things, including aptitude, communication skills, centre of excellence, etc. To boost your placement chances, I mean, along with a conventional course, you have to make at least one project every semester, and one major online course is required by every student and teachers as well for continuous improvement for everyone. Semester exams, as told by seniors, are difficult to score.
Other: I chose this course because I want to make a career in Data Science. The best things about my course are the relevance to the current job market, as I suppose. I wish we had more free time for us to spend according to ourselves because currently the course becomes hectic and very time-consuming.

Good learning environment with decent placements and campus life.
Placements: I am from the current year batch. Previously, 65-70 percent of students were placed with packages ranging from 3 LPA to 12 LPA (average 4 LPA-5LPA) recruited by TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, and Cognizant, with strong internship and Software Developer/System Engineer roles offered.
Infrastructure: The CSE department has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, a good library, and campus Wi-Fi, while the hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, average but hygienic mess food, basic medical support, and adequate sports and recreational facilities.
Faculty: The faculty are experienced and supportive, the curriculum is updated and industry-oriented, and the semester exams are moderately challenging with a high pass percentage, making them manageable for students who attend classes and prepare well, as suggested.
Other: I chose this course due to stronger career opportunities, the best aspects are good learning exposure, active technical, and cultural events.

B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning - Batch of 2026

A good college for students to choose in Bangalore.
Placements: I belong to the 2022–2026 batch of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Most students who are interested in placements get placed. The package is good enough, with an average of 3 LPA to the highest 44 LPA. Many MNCs come to our college for recruitment. It is good overall for anyone to start their career in tech.
Infrastructure: I stay in the hostel, so it is average in terms of Wi-Fi and food. But in college, it is quite good in terms of Wi-Fi, classrooms, labs, and the library. Labs are properly set up. So there are not many setup or electricity issues. The library is a gem for anyone who wants to study at their own pace and learn a lot.
Faculty: As I am from the AIML department, our faculty members are helpful, supportive, and allow us to explore and learn. Even though we are given assignments, we are given plenty of time to submit them. We do not get much trouble from teachers. In this era of rapidly growing tech. They give us exposure to learn and explore ourselves.
Other: The college is absolutely fine in terms of value for money. I suggest coming to find your matching peers, learn, grow, build, and move ahead with them across multiple campuses to showcase your projects, ideas, and build a network. That is what matters. You will meet different kinds of groups in college, and it is all up to you to enjoy and find your circle. Tech is not something that is taught once and learned from teachers. It is a path that you have to find in the environment given to you.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The placement opportunities for our course are quite good. Many reputed companies visit our campus. They provide decent packages to students who get placed every year. The packages are fair, and internships are also provided. Overall, placements are very helpful for career growth.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for our course and hostel is average. Classrooms have basic facilities. Sometimes lack proper maintenance and hygiene. Wi-Fi is provided on campus and in libraries. Hostel rooms are manageable, but cleanliness and water supply should be improved.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, not only academically but also in helping students with campus-related issues. Most teachers are approachable and helpful in clearing doubts. Exams are moderately difficult but manageable.
Other: I am very interested in doing business, so I chose an MBA because it helps me a lot. This course is very helpful for learning basic business rules and strategies.

From classroom to career- What CMRIT gets right.
Placements: Placement opportunities are strong for CSE, ISE, and AIML. The average package is 5–6 LPA, and the highest package goes above 20–25 LPA (varies yearly). Many companies visit, including Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, EY, etc. Dedicated placement training is provided from the early semesters.
Infrastructure: The campus is medium-sized but well organized. Classrooms are smart-board enabled. The library is spacious with good digital resources. Labs, sports areas, the canteen, and study spaces are well maintained. Hostel availability is good, but food quality is average. Labs are well maintained and practical focused.
Faculty: Faculty is generally supportive and encourages projects, research, and club activities. There is good guidance for internships, hackathons, and paper presentations. Some departments are more active than others. The curriculum is industry-oriented and regularly updated. Faculty quality is good, especially in CSE, AIML, ISE, and ECE. Many professors are approachable and supportive, but some subjects depend on the faculty you get.
Other: CMRIT is a solid college for engineering aspirants looking for good placements, an active campus life, and skill-based learning. If you are self-driven and take advantage of opportunities, the college provides a strong platform for growth.

Both CMRIT Bangalore and REVA University are good options for BTech in Electrical Engineering. Both have similar ratings. Reviews suggest to pick REVA University for good infrastructure and CMRIT for its VTU affiliation. Students can check the reviews for both institutes to decide.
