HSTES LEET 2025 Exam Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus

HSTES LEET is the short form of the Haryana State Technical Education Society Lateral Entry Entrance Test. It is organised for admission to 2nd year (3rd Semester) of BTech/BE.

The HSTES counselling application process is completely online. Candidates have to register on the official website to participate in the HSTES LEET counselling process. The application process includes:

• Registration
• Filling details in the online form
• Upload required documents
• Paymet of the application fee

HSTES LEET application fee can be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card. All details should be filled correctly. After final date, no applications will be accepted.

HSTES LEET 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Before registration, candidates should check official eligibility criteria. If candidates do not meet criteria, then they will not be considered for admission. 

• Candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering/Technology with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) OR
• They should have a BSc degree with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) and passed Class 12 with mathematics as a subject
• For Kashmiri Migrant, there is a relaxation of 10%
• Candidates having a BSc degree should have passed Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second year subjects
• Kashmiri migrants should have the original certificate signed by the concerned authority or Relief Commissioner

For Lateral Entry to BE/ BTech Courses for all the seats of Government University Departments/ Government Technical Institutions and 75% of seats of Self Financing Institutes only, candidates have to appear in two online off-campus HSTES LEET counselling 2025. After the second counselling process, there will be no offline counselling and admission will be done at the institute level. During the institute level counselling process, the subcategories (including females) of a particular reserved category will be merged into the main reserved category.
