BCA in Data Science - Batch of 2026
Offered by Echelon Institute of Technology

Good placements, supportive faculty, and decent infrastructure .
Placements: In my batch of B.Tech (Computer Science), nearly 75%-80% of students got placed through campus placements. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average stood near 5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra, along with some product-based startups. Around 60% of students secured internships in reputed companies like TCS, Cognizant, Byju's, and local IT firms. The major roles offered are software developer, system engineer, data analyst, and associate consultant. Overall, placements are decent with a good mix of service and IT companies visiting the campus.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, projectors, and high-speed Wi-Fi accessible across campus. The library is rich with technical books, journals, and digital resources. Hostel facilities are satisfactory with spacious rooms, 24/7 water and electricity, and decent security. The mess food is average but hygienic, while the canteen offers a variety of snacks and meals. Basic medical facilities with a first-aid center and a tie-up hospital are available for emergencies.
Faculty: The teachers are supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable, always ready to clear doubts and guide students in academics as well as projects. The teaching quality is a mix of theoretical and practical learning, with assignments, lab work, and seminars. The course curriculum is fairly relevant, updated with emerging technologies, and include internships and projects that help in building industry-oriented skills. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, focusing on both conceptual clarity and problem-solving. The overall pass percentage remain high, around 85%- 90%, as most students were able to clear exams with proper preparation.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology and problem-solving, and it offered good career opportunities in IT and software fields. The best part of the course is the balance of theoretical concepts and practical exposure through labs, projects, and internships. The faculty support and placement opportunities are also strong points. However, I feel the course could be improved by adding more hands-on training, industry collaborations, and workshops on the latest technologies to make students even more industry-ready.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2023
2.6
3Placements2Infrastructure2Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Absolutely dissatisfied. Thanks to environment, teachers, and friends that make it manageable.
Placements: In electronic and communication, there were few placements in core companies. But for high-grade students, placements were easy. However, including on and off-campus placements. The percentage was great. Many top companies came like STM Electronics, Samsung, etc. For core, the seniors were placed in great companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was just below average. A very small campus with no proper labs and equipments. There was no hostel for boys, the worst thing. Labs were so old. There was no proper working equipment in college. Tachers did not even take any action, and students had to bring equipment on their own.
Faculty: Mostly teachers were cool and supportive. But some teachers were just too bad like they wouldn't let students pass their subject easily. The curriculum was not improved since 2010 and was the old teaching being taught. Teachers were well-qualified and they even recommended books to learn.
Other: I took this course because this was the best possible branch after computer science due to incoming semi-conductor boom. The infrastructure and some fests were needed to make college life much better.

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2026
Offered by B S Anangpuria Institute of Technology and Management

Good infrastructure and supportive faculty, with placements and scope for improvement.
Placements: The department attracts reputed recruiters from diverse sectors. Some of the top companies visiting the campus include IT & software Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, Accenture, and Capgemini. Core/technical are L&T, Siemens, Bosch, and Tata Technologies. Analytics & consulting are Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and PwC.
Infrastructure: There are spacious classrooms with projectors, smart boards, and audio-visual teaching aids. Computer labs with updated software and high-performance systems. Access to labs, projects, internships, and case studies that help apply knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Faculty: Regular guest lectures, workshops, and seminars by industry experts further enhance learning beyond textbooks. Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, who guide not only academically but also in career growth. A good number of reputed companies visit the campus for internships and final placements.
Other: More guest lectures, workshops, and industry tie-ups would help students gain deeper insights.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2024

Basically, it's good for students.
Placements: 25% of students made their future bright with the help of college placements. It is commendable that the college makes this much effort for students' bright futures and dreams. Approximately 25%-30% of students got internships from their courses. The highest package offered by companies on campus ranges from 5 to 7 LPA, while the minimum goes from 2 to 3 LPA, which is not bad in my opinion, as it inspires students to work hard to achieve their dream jobs.
Infrastructure: Facilities on campus are okay, not too good or too bad. The facilities in the department are quite good, and the overall infrastructure is okay. It needs some renovation, but the bond between students and teachers is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good, and they are supportive of every student. However, the semester exams are quite difficult, making it challenging to answer them easily.

Disappointed because of the lack of companies visiting for placements and poor campus life.
Placements: About 65% of the total students were placed. The highest package was 18 LPA by Flipkart. The average package offered was 6.9 LPA. Top recruiters are Samsung, Flipkart, TCS, Dobe (3 to 4 students), Ion Digital, and other software companies. For internships, students have to rely on their own off-campus efforts as very few companies visit the campus for internships. The top roles offered by companies are senior data analyst, data analyst, web developer, app developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Campus size is small, so hostels are provided only to girls while boys have to live outside. Classrooms are fine, but the condition of the labs is not promising due to a lack of good equipment. Workshops are average. The cafeteria is fine, though the food prices are a little high. Sports and games are not very good; only one or two, like badminton and basketball, are good. A medical clinic is available on the college campus, which is fine.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful for the course curriculum. Although the course curriculum is not industry-relevant as industry standards have changed but the course curriculum has not. Exams are not very tough, but the checking becomes tougher as we move to the higher semesters. To pass, you have to take 40 marks out of 100, from which 30 must be in theory and the rest are internal marks.
Other: I chose this course because I was good at and interested in the study of circuits and electronic components. The best thing about this course is that you can work in core companies as well as software companies, as it has some coding-related subjects like DSA. For improvement, I would suggest the course curriculum should be updated to industry standards. As for extracurricular activities, some clubs like the music club (Tarunam), electronic project club (Microbird), and coding club (GDSC) are active, but the rest of the clubs are not very interesting. The last time a fest was organized was before COVID-19.
