Q:   Will NEET 2024 be delayed?
A:

NEET 2024 was conducted on May 5, 2024. NTA announced the exam date on September 19, approximately eight months in advance. NTA has decided the exam date after much deliberation and assessing situations such as Board exam schedule, other exams, etc. Over the past few years, NEET exam date was delayed owing to the pandemic situation, which affected the overall academic calendar. To bring back normalcy, NTA conducted NEET UG 2024 in May, similar to the pre-pandemic era after much brainstorming and assessing other entrance exam dates. Howrver, NEET 2024 will be reconducted on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates who were given grace marks. The Supreme Court of India has asked NTA not to delay the admission process. Hence, NTA will release the result of the retest on June 30, 2024, and the counselling process will begin in July 2024.

M.A. in Economics - Batch of 2025
1.0

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: 40% of students are there in my course. No one from my batch got the internship due to a lack of proper knowledge, experience, and talent. This degree was just a waste of time and money because of the poor facilities. There is a lack of proper guidance and support.
Infrastructure: We are provided with the worst facilities. There are no proper classrooms. There is no canteen or labs. The quality of food is not good, but sports and games are better. The conditions of classrooms are very bad. There is no board.
Faculty: There are no lectures. Even teachers are the least interested in teaching. Semester exams are tough due to improper knowledge, preparation, and support. The pass percentage is 80%, but it is the worst experience for me. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, but not helpful.
Other: I chose this course for PhD. I suggest college improve facilities and provide responsible teachers.

Good faculty members but lack campus life.
Placements: The placement rate was only 50%. Most students were employed in teaching and government services. Others were still preparing for various government exams and services. The course did not meet demands of real job requirements. There was no recruitment from top companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not modern. Classrooms were not so clean. There were no sports or games were organized, nor were there any fests or cultural activities. The quality and condition of washrooms were deplorable, with no proper maintenance. There was an absence of Wi-Fi and library facilities.
Faculty: Teachers were really good and helpful. They taught the syllabus very nicely and thoroughly. The course curriculum was also very relevant, especially with regard to the UGC NET. However, I still felt that it did not make students industry-ready. Things needed to be done in this matter.
Other: Geography was my favourite subject, that's why I chose this course. There was no campus life, no extracurricular activities, no fests, and no sports.
