This college is best for its medical and pharmaceutical education.
Placements: I don't know exactly about placements provided here, but according to our seniors, the placement record is nice here. Students get intern opportunities as well as jobs in the medical sector from our course. From the 3rd year, students may not get better jobs, but after completing M.Sc, they will get a good opportunity for jobs with a salary of around Rs. 40,000-50,000 per month or like that. It basically depends on students, and our college can only help to get it.
Infrastructure: Our college is air-conditioned, and the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are well technique labs and huge grounds for playing. Teachers are well trained as well. There are 2-3 canteens in our university. For medical facilities, our college has its own hospital, so it's a good thing.
Faculty: Teachers here are very great at teaching. In spite of following the online mode of teaching, teachers are giving their best to teach us. Our teachers are well knowledgeable. Basically, there is a one-semester exam pattern, while the rest assignment based internal exams are conducted. Until now, we are studying online, so everything is easy, but we have to study to achieve good marks. Our course has practicals also, which I miss because of Covid-19 as offline classes are not conducted.
Other: The campus is located in South Delhi, and after entering the university, there is very peace and silence that you can relax, study, play, etc. This course is underrated but will be one of the best courses in the coming years. It deals with vaccines, medicine, ethics and rules in the medical sector, etc.

Best college to fulfil your dreams.
Placements: 28 students are placed but the number varies according to the year. 17-20k is the average salary in our field for the fresher but with the experience the salary goes on increasing. Sun Pharmaceuticals, Auriga Pvt. Limited, Novartis, etc., and many more pharmaceuticals companies even hospitals undertake students within them for proper guidance. Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Research Coordinator, Medical writer, are the roles offered. 70% of the students get placed as there is a placement cell where students can join and sit for an interview, But our faculty members coordinate with us in sending resumes to various companies for a good job.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities available in our college like canteens in various places of the college so that we don/t have to travel so far, food which is served is also hygienic. There is a central library so that students can read books are also there. We have a hospital within the premises. Various sports like cricket, football, and many cultural activities also took place. Last but not least, various workshops, seminars, are conducted. All the things provided on the campus are very good and more than enough.
Faculty: The teachers were highly qualified and well experienced. They teach us with a lot of live examples and make us practice a lot especially theory portions so that we don't mug instead learn with proper meaning. Also, they don't spoon-feed us and provide us with all the laboratory facilities and give us hands-on-training practice. We have hands-on training between our semesters. Relevant subjects related to the course which can help us to decide which course is better and we can choose according to our interest. Also, there is both theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject in this field which is the Unique Selling Position of this course in this college.

Review of Jamia Hamdard University.
Placements: Many multinational companies and many reputed hospitals visited our university to hire students. For a computer course, companies like HCL, Amazon and Wipro visited our university to hire students with a very good package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is decent. Classrooms and library are fully air-conditioned. The library is fully stocked. Classrooms are equipped with a projector. The canteen has a space to accommodate only 50 students. Food served in the canteen is average, but it could have been better.
Faculty: The course offered several subjects which are being properly taught by Jamia Hamdard University teachers. Teachers conduct several lectures to understand the subjects. Teachers in our college are very friendly. They have good knowledge of the subject. The course curriculum is up to date, and it changes from time to time. Papers are checked within the universities and also by the teachers who teach the subjects.
Other: Our college does not organise many fests as compared to DU. Our college organises the only fest named NERDZ, which is a great fest, and students like it. Our college conducts many sports events, and it is a great place if you like sports.

    I am satisfied with college.
Placements: Around 20% of the students joined various research projects, PhD programme and the rest students joined jobs in biotechnology firms and teaching areas. The average salary package offered to the students is around 6 LPA. Almost 90% of the students did internships in various reputed labs and research organisations like CCMB, Department of Botany, Delhi University.
Infrastructure: Labs of the department are well-equipped. The professors are now getting projects and funds from CSIR and other organisations for the renovation of the masters and PhD labs. Hostels of the university have a good infrastructure and serve good quality food.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified from various eminent international organisations like IRRI, Philippines and Hyderabad university. Every professor is well versed in their subjects and area of research and is bringing reputed projects and funds every year. Thereby, increasing the scope of active research in the department.
Other: I have chosen this course as I am interested in research. I did bachelors in botany and further continued with masters in botany.

    Review of Jamia Hamdard University.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Every reputed company is invited to our campus to offer placements to the students with good packages. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the highest package offered is 10 LPA. Many international companies visit our campus to offer placements and also offer a 2-year research programme in USA.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge air-conditioned auditorium. A gallery and a sports complex are available. A huge library is present. An event is held by ASA student talent hunt every Friday. A garden and parking space are available. The labs are good. Many cultural events are held in the auditorium.
Faculty: The faculty members in our department have a lot of experience and good practical knowledge. They all are aware of spectroscopy techniques and even nanoscience research work. Their way of teaching is amazing. They teach chemistry with a lot of creativity.

Honest opinion on M.Sc. Biotech from Jamia Hamdard.
Placements: Jamia Hamdard is one of the best university in India. Many companies visit our campus and we do have a placement cell. But for Biotechnology students, it is not very helpful. Most companies prefer to take CS students or B.Tech students. A couple of my friends did get a job but it was not worth money wise. Few others were placed in TCS and Infosys. We do get internship opportunity during our Masters. I did my internship at the University of Delhi and it was a great experience to be in North Campus. It was an unpaid internship. As far as I remember None of my friends had paid internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and the university provides quality education. We did not have Wi-Fi everywhere when I was studying but I am assured that not university is fully covered with Wi-Fi. The classrooms are normal. It is just like every other classroom of most of the university. We have a big library with loads of books. The is a medical center also and the university also has a big sports ground. The labs and classrooms are normal. They are not very good but are sufficient to carry out your master's project. I was a day scholar so I can not comment about the hostel and the facility it provides but it was good and None of my persistently complained about anything. The canteen food is lip-smacking and very tasty. It is also pocket-friendly.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are good, experienced and have their Ph.D. From reputed colleges in India. They are very helpful and kind towards students. I got proper assistance from all of my professors for my project work. The teaching quality is good, however, the teaching method employed are still traditional. The student to faculty ratio is somewhat 15:1 which is a good sign. But we do have teachers do also teach students of other branches. So it is very hard to put it precisely. I did not have any industrial visit during my Masters.

The college has excellent faculty and facilities are need to be improved.
Placements: There are no placements for biochemistry students. There is a placement cell but not for biochemistry. Biochemistry students are also not allowed to sit when placements are going on in biotechnology and toxicology their placements happen, and the highest package goes nearly about 5 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: There are two lecture halls in the department of biochemistry. One lecture hall is good other one is small and only can accommodate 30 students. There is Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus, but speed is slow. The medical facilities are chargeable, not free, there is a huge central library but the books are limited, and also books are of older editions. There is no water facility in the department itself also sanitation facilities are not good. The labs contain very old instruments and reagents.
Faculty: In the department of biochemistry, there are 5 teachers, two are professors one is an associate professor, and two are assistant professors. They all are highly qualified. All the teachers are helpful. The teaching quality here is excellent. For lectures, they use both blackboard and powerpoint presentation as methods. There is no industry exposure.
Other: A lot of workshops, seminar and distinguish lectures are held in the convention centre. The campus crowd is good it is a mix population of both Hindu and Muslims. There is also a mosque on the campus. The campus is very well-connected by road, There are two metro stations on different lines where you can reach to the university either by Govindpuri or Sake.

jamia hamdard is not good for biotechnology
Placements: The placements were not provided to our seniors. Even when requested, the department calls only one company which is not big in the name of placements. Wherein, if selected, the pay is less. So, nobody opts for such placements and look out for PhD. Nobody got the internship from the college. The students arranged for it on their own during their vacations.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The laboratories are also nicely equipped with required instruments to conduct the experiments and research, but these are available in CIF (common instrumentation facility), i.e. all the departments of the faculty of chemical and life sciences share the instruments. Every department also has their own department instrumentation facility which includes basic instruments like deep freezers, PCR machine, stirrers, PH Meter, Centrifuge, etc. This biotechnology department has 2 culture rooms for both animal and plant cell culture.
Faculty: The course curriculum is made by considering all the important fields, but the one paper which they offer Bioinformatics is not useful in the way they teach. Jamia people only teach it theoretically whereas this paper is to be explained with practical knowledge. This institution lacks the teaching faculty, and they are outnumbered due to which teachers are forced to teach the paper in which they do not have any kind of experience and specialisation.
Other: The common university fest does not happen. One university organises an event which is the sports meet, and it is a full-fledged event of one week. The campus is good, but outside the campus, the surroundings are not decent.
