Jamia Hamdard MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Jamia Hamdard's MBA course is of two-year duration and is divided into four semesters. The university offers an MBA in three major specialisations through the Department of Management and the Department of Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Management. For Jamia Hamdard MBA admission, candidates must have a valid score of CAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GPAT/ ATMA/. 2: Selection Rounds
Jamia Hamdard MBA selection is based on CAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, XAT, GPAT, or ATMA scores. Candidates who meet the below criteria can skip appearing for the aptitude test:
- Mid-career candidates with two years of work experience (after graduation).
- UG degree of four-year or above duration (BE/ BTech/ MBBS/ BA LLB, etc.) with at least 50% aggregate or CGPA of 5 on a 10-point scale.
- Candidates in their final year of the UG course with a four-year or above duration (BE/ BTech/ MBBS/ BA LLB, etc.) need to submit the aggregate marks up to the sixth semester.
- First division in at least two examinations out of three i.e. Class 10, Class 12, undergraduate with second division in the third examination. However, no candidates will be called for
GD & PI if they failed to secure a minimum 50% or 5 CGPA on a 10-point Scale in their graduation.
Shortlisted aspirants are further called for group discussion and personal interviews at the Jamia Hamdard campus or online as per the prevailing condition during the time of GDPI.
For MBA (Public Health Management/ Hospital Administration) and MBA (Pharmaceutical Management), admission is based on merit determined by the university based on performance in GD/ PI and marks in the graduation and industry work experience.

Jamia Hamdard University MBA total fee is the sum of various components that are refundable, non-refundable, and one-time chargeable. Candidates have to pay some fee amount at the time of admission for seat allotment. Then the fee payment can be done semesterly/annually. The total tuition fee for the two-year PG course ranges from INR 3 Lacs to INR 5 lakh. Additionally, the one-time fee is INR 1,800 and hostel fee is INR 1.28 lakh. This fee amount is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) offers the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), a business aptitude exam, to help with admission to MBA and PGDM programmes. Approximately 1,300 private and public B-schools in India, including Great Lakes Institute of Management, JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai, and PUMBA, have acknowledged it. The CMAT 2024 is likely to be scheduled around April or May of 2024. The CMAT 2024 exam date is anticipated to be revealed by NTA around the last week of January 2024, with registration opening in February of the same year. A wide variety of private and public colleges accept the CMAT because it is a moderately demanding exam.
The CMAT exam was held in January 2026. NTA usually starts registration for CMAT in November every year. Those interested in appearing for the exam are required to register for it at CMAT-NTA website and fill out the online application form.
