Jamia Hamdard MBA 2025 FAQs
Jamia Hamdard University MBA total fee is the sum of various components that are refundable, non-refundable, and one-time chargeable. Candidates have to pay some fee amount at the time of admission for seat allotment. Then the fee payment can be done semesterly/annually. The total tuition fee for the two-year PG course ranges from INR 3 Lacs to INR 5 lakh. Additionally, the one-time fee is INR 1,800 and hostel fee is INR 1.28 lakh. This fee amount is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) offers the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), a business aptitude exam, to help with admission to MBA and PGDM programmes. Approximately 1,300 private and public B-schools in India, including Great Lakes Institute of Management, JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai, and PUMBA, have acknowledged it. The CMAT 2024 is likely to be scheduled around April or May of 2024. The CMAT 2024 exam date is anticipated to be revealed by NTA around the last week of January 2024, with registration opening in February of the same year. A wide variety of private and public colleges accept the CMAT because it is a moderately demanding exam.
The CMAT exam was held in January 2026. NTA usually starts registration for CMAT in November every year. Those interested in appearing for the exam are required to register for it at CMAT-NTA website and fill out the online application form. The score of CMAT will be valid for one year only, so if you appear for CMAT 2026, you must take admission in the same academic year.

Jamia Hamdard is one of the recognised universities in Delhi. Students from all cultures, values and religions take admission in the university. At Jamia Hamdard, the hostel fee is charged for the whole academic year. If a student is allotted the hostel in the middle of the session, the hostel charges are then calculated quarterly as mentioned below:
- First quarter: July 1 to September 30
- Second quarter: October 1 to December 31
- Third quarter: January 1 to March 31
- Fourth Quarter: April 1 to June 30
In case a student does not join the hostel but informs the Provost Office within a week after payment of the hostel fee about the withdrawal, the hostel charges are then refunded after deduction of INR 1000. In case the student withdraws admission within one month of joining of hostel, the fee is refunded after a deduction of 25% of the hostel fee.
In any other case, no fee except security deposit is refundable. It is refunded to the hosteller after he/she has paid all dues and vacated the hostel.
Direct admissions are not available for many courses at Jamia Hamdard. Candidates who have missed the entrance examinations accepted by Jamia Hamdard University Delhi, must not worry. These candidates can apply again the next year. Students who wishes to get admission must take part in the Jamia Hamdard Delhi admission process before the date of application has gone. For the application purpose, candidates can visit the official site of the university.
