- The eligibility criteria for Jamia Hamdard MBBS course is as per NEET UG. Aspirants should have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will attain the same by Dec 31, 2025. STEP 1: Jamia Hamdard MBBS Application Process 2025
Jamia Hamdard's application process is online. Candidates can apply as soon as the registration opens. Admission to the MBBS course is through NEET-UG Counselling. Candidates have to fill NEET UG application form to register for the exam. Below is the NEET-UG application process for Jamia Hamdard MBBS admission:
Step 1.1: Visit the NEET 2025 official website - neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 1.2: Click on the tab indicating registration.
Step 1.3: Read all the instructions and register with personal details such as name, contact details, password, etc. to generate the application number and password.
Step 1.4: Register by entering personal, contact details and password.
Step 1.5: Verify OTP received through SMS and email.
Step 1.6: After the credentials are generated, log in and fill up the application form with personal and educational details, exam medium and exam city preference and photograph and signature upload.
Step 1.7: Pay the application fee in online mode through credit/debit card, net banking, Paytm and UPI.
STEP 2: NEET-UG Entrance Exam
After filling out the registration form, candidates need to appear for the NEET-UG entrance exam. The national-level exam is conducted once a year in offline mode for three hours and 20 minutes. The selected aspirants shall have to undergo a medical examination by a Medical Board set up by the HIMSR, consisting of Faculty members of the Institute. If, in the assessment of the Medical Board, a candidate is found medically unfit will be informed to DGHS and the decision of the DGHS in this regard shall be final.
STEP 3: Counselling
Admission to Jamia Hamdard MBBS is through NEET-UG Counselling by MCC. The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Besides, State Authorities or the Education Department of various states conduct NEET state counselling for the 85% state quota seats.

STEP 4: Seat Allotment & Fee Payment
Once the counselling is over, MCC allots seats under different categories. Out of the total, 50% of reservations are for Muslim Minority (by Birth) candidates. After allotment of the seat by MCC, the admission process will be completed at HIMSR. In the last step, students need to pay the Jamia Hamdard University fee. The total tuition fee for the MBBS course is INR 72 lakh, the hostel fee is INR 5.46 lakh, and the one-time fee is INR 5.85 lakh. The given fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body.
