STEP 1: Jamia Hamdard MBBS Application Process 2025
Jamia Hamdard's application process is online. Candidates can apply as soon as the registration opens. Admission to the MBBS course is through NEET-UG Counselling. Candidates have to fill NEET UG application form to register for the exam. Below is the NEET-UG application process for Jamia Hamdard MBBS admission:
Step 1.1: Visit the NEET 2025 official website - neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 1.2: Click on the tab indicating registration.

The selected aspirants shall have to undergo a medical examination by a Medical Board set up by the HIMSR, consisting of Faculty members of the Institute. If, in the assessment of the Medical Board, a candidate is found medically unfit will be informed to DGHS and the decision of the DGHS in this regard shall be final.
STEP 3: Counselling
Admission to Jamia Hamdard MBBS is through NEET-UG Counselling by MCC. The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Once the counselling is over, MCC allots seats under different categories.
The minimum marks required to get MBBS admissions in Jamia Hamdard in the NEET entrance exams are unknown. Instead, the data shows the minimum rank that is needed to gain admissions in MBBS course at Jamia Hamdard which according to the 2024 cutoff rank is 23,802. Candidates who are able to secure a rank higher than this in NEET exam can easily gain admission in MBBS course at Jamia Hamdard.
NTA is expected to start the NEET 2026 registration in the first week of February. The last date of application is likely to be scheduled for first week of March. NEET 2026 will be conducted in the first week of May.
Jamia Hamdard University (Deemed-to-be) offers an MBBS programme of four-and-a-half-year duration followed by one year of compulsory rotating internship. A total of 150 seats are allotted for this course and admission is subject to the NEET-UG exam followed by counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services (UG merit list of respective categories).
Aspirants who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English subjects individually in the qualifying examination with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for General PwD and 40% aggregate for reserved category candidates) can apply for MBBS programme.
Jamia Hamdard MBBS admission is done based on aspirants NEET scores. The university releases its application form in March for all the programmes. In addition, the application deadline is in June as per the last year schedule.
Candidates do not need to pre-register any where to apply for Jamia Hamdard University MBBS programme. All seats (General, Muslim Reserved & NRI) are allotted through NEET-UG Counseling through MCC of DGHS under MoHFW, GoI only. Below are the steps to apply for NEET-UG for Jamia Hamdard MBBS admission:
Step 1: Visit the NEET 2024 official website.
Step 2: Click on the tab indicating Registration.
Step 3: Read all the instructions and register with personal details such as name, contact details, password, etc. to generate the application number and password.
Step 4: Register for NEET 2024 by entering personal, contact details and password.
Step 5: Verify OTP received through SMS and email.
Step 6: After the credentials are generated, log in and fill up the application form with personal and educational details, exam medium and exam city preference and photograph and signature upload.
Step 7: Pay the application fee in online mode through credit/debit card, net banking, Paytm and UPI.
Jamia Hamdard admission process begins with registration. Candidates are required to fill NEET-UG application form for MBBS admission. Candidates after registration, have to appear for NEET-UG. Once the results are out, students are called for counselling. NEET UG Counselling is conducted by MCC for admission to MBBS course.

NTA released the re-revised scorecard on July 26, 2024. In this scorecard, the score has been revised as per the Supreme Court verdict of removing the bonus marks awarded earlier for the controversial Physics question, and deducting one mark from those who marked incorrect answer options. The city and centre-wise result data such as number of candidates appeared and scores obtained, by masking candidates' personal data was released on July 21, as per the Supreme Court order given on the hearing dated July 18, 2024. The NEET 2024 result for the re-exam, which was conducted on June 23, was declared on July 1, day day after the slated date. The final answer keys for the NEET 2024 re-exam was released by June 30, ahead of the result declaration. Earlier, the result of NEET 2024 was declared by NTA on June 4, 2024, 10 days ahead of the original schedule, which was June 14, 2024. NTA released the final NEET answer keys on June 4, prior to the release of the NEET result 2024. The NEET result was declared in an online mode. Candidates have to log in with their registration credentials or application number and date of birth, and download their scorecard in PDF format. NTA also released the merit list containing the name, Roll Number, All India Rank and Percentile of the candidates. Along with the NEET 2024 scorecard, NTA also released the NEET 2024 cutoff marks or the qualifying marks/scores.
Jamia Hamdard MBBS placement report 2023 is not released. At the UG level, the university offers BSc, BTech, & other courses to students. BTech is provided in various specialisations like Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence), and others. At the PG (postgraduate) level, the college gives MPharm, MSc, MTech, MBA, and other courses to students. The college also gives lateral entry, diploma, and various other courses to students.
The total tuition Jamia Hamdard MBBS fees is INR 72 lakh. Candidates once shortlisted, have to confirm their seat by paying the course fee. The fee amount is same for General and reserved (Muslim Minority by Birth) category. At the time of admission, candidates need to pay tuition fee and one-time fee, including admission fee, enrolement, alumbi fund, sports fee and medical facilities.
The fee also includes refundable component-library and security deposit. Candidates have to pay the examination fee annually. Moreover, the given fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
