Yes, it is worth paying for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at Jamia Millia Islamia. The college offers a good value proposition due to its affordable fees, strong academic environment, dedicated hospital, and practical training offered through the internship. It provides a solid foundation for a career in dentistry.
The college has good infrastructure, and students get a very easy understanding of all the subjects and other study materials. The overall environment is quite attractive, and there is good bonding between different departments. The hostels are quite decent, and the food quality is also good. Students who are in BDS courses get good opportunities in good companies.
The faculty members are perfect, with good teacher-student bonding, and are mind-blowing. The patient inflow is good, and students get good exposure to real-world dental settings. The campus life is also very good, with many programs every month that make students indulge.
However, some students have reported that they are not happy with their BDS education, and there are some cons such as groceries shops being very far from the hostel, and the area surrounding those shops are equipped with meat sellers, which can be problematic for vegetarians.
Overall, Jamia Millia Islamia's BDS programme offers a good value proposition, and it is worth paying for.
