Good infrastructure for students, with good job opportunities.
Placements: I am pursuing Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). My department has an 80–90% placement percentage every year. We can participate in both core and non-core jobs. My department faculty bring core jobs to students through alumni connections. My college also allows us to participate in IT roles.
Infrastructure: We have our own block for ECE. The infrastructure is very good. We have well equipped labs. My college has multiple playgrounds, spacious classrooms, a central library, computer labs, a canteen, and seminar halls. Our college provides bus services to the students and hostel facilities. My college provides hostels for both boys and girls with all facilities.
Faculty: The curriculum is very good. They maintain a good academic system. The curriculum is changed for every batch based on current requirements. We have semester, external, internal, and weekly exams. The exams are strictly monitored by the faculty. We can score well in the exams by studying one day before the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I can participate in both hardware and software job opportunities. My department celebrates every event and fest very well. They encourage students to participate in events and fests. We have our own clubs for the students.

Good placements in 2026 at Vignan's Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: It has a good placement percentage. 80 percent of students get placed every year in reputed companies. I am from 2022 batch. I got placed with a good package. From our batch, Infosys recruits 100+ students from our college for roles like SE, DSE, and SP. MNC companies often visit our campus to hire students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. We have different blocks for different departments. So students do not get involved in any other activities. We have a good learning environment. We have hostels for girls and boys. The hostel facilities are also good. Hostel food is also hygienic. Students from other countries also study in our college. We have all the equipment needed for the students.
Faculty: I am from the Computer Science and Engineering department. Our department faculty are very good. They are helpful and friendly with the students. Our department faculty maintain a strong alumni network. My department faculty offer internships to the students through alumni connections. The college conducts semester and weekly exams. They conduct weekly exams to track the students' academic knowledge.
Other: Our college celebrates two big events. Yuvatrang is a cultural fest, and Vista is a technical fest. They celebrate these two fests very well. Students have full enjoyment. My department has different clubs. They can join any club based on their interests.

My experience at Dadi Institute of Engineering and Technology (DIET).
Placements: Dadi Institute of Engineering and Technology College is one of the good colleges in Visakhapatnam. The placement percentage of our college is 75–80% every year. The highest package of our college is 10 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro and Tech Mahindra visit to recruit students. They offer good roles with good packages to the students.
Infrastructure: Our college does not provide hostel facilities for either girls or boys. But we have private hostels near our college with good facilities. We have computer labs, spacious classrooms with LCD projectors, and a digital library. We also have a spacious sports ground. We have college bus services as well. Our college provides on-campus first-aid facilities to the students and staff.
Faculty: We have semester and mid-term examinations. The curriculum is very good. We have a well-structured academic system. Teachers are highly experienced and qualified. They help students with academics, projects, and research papers. We have to do the major project in the final semester. The semester exams are monitored very strictly.
Other: We have technical workshops, cultural events, and annual events. Our college is located on the national highway in a peaceful environment. Our college celebrates the best event called Vibrant DIET, which is my favourite event. The campus crowd is also good at our college.

Placements: In Visakhapatnam, Vignan's Institute of Information Technology is a top college, well known for its placement percentage. Our college's highest package is 50 LPA, with an alumnus placed at Amazon. The average package is 5–6 LPA. The lowest package is 3–4 LPA. Top MNC companies often visit our campus to hire students.
Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities. We have spacious playgrounds for different sports, digital labs, seminar halls, spacious and well-equipped classrooms, workshops, drawing halls, Chemistry and Physics labs, a canteen, etc. Our college has good Wi-Fi. The hostel is also good. Our college provides hostels for girls and boys. The hostel food is good.
Faculty: We have semester exams, weekly tests, internal exams, and external exams. The internal exams are conducted before the semester exams. We can score well in semester exams by reading the textbooks or PDFs given by our faculty. Faculty members are very good in our college. They clarify the doubts of every student at any time. The curriculum is also perfect.
Other: I chose the Cyber Security course because I have a lot of interest in this course. The college is recommended by my cousin because she studied at VIIT. Our college celebrates every event very well. The events are organized with the help of SAC members. We have multiple clubs in our college. Interested students can join any club by meeting the club requirements.

I do seem to quite enjoy my time here in this college, I've made quite some good friends.
Placements: Placements are not very good in our college. The package is usually low for IT background jobs, and we get a low number of IT background jobs. If we do get them, the package is really low, or it's a non-technical job, so if you want to get a job straight out of college, this is not a good choice for you.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not bad. There are trees all through the college. The labs are better this year so everything is fine. I am concerned about the cleaning because classrooms are not very clean and in some classes projectors work and in some they don't.
Faculty: Faculty is really nice. They tell you when you don't understand something, and they don't just read out of a PP. They actually use the board and write on it. The exams are good as well but we'd rather have more practical coding knowledge than memorizing a question and copy-pasting it in the exam.
Other: The events like hackathons and coding expos are good, but the fests are bad. They say they have hobby clubs but not really.

Now, maybe this college is not good, but it is truly trying its best to improve.
Placements: Many students were placed in placement-oriented companies rather than actual companies. The package range was 6 LPA to 2.5 LPA. The average was 3 LPA. Many non-IT companies like iEnergizer and Tech Mahindra recruited students. Students got internships outside the campus, like online internships and startups. The roles offered included Customer Relationship Manager and Developer.
Infrastructure: Labs were renovated. New hostels were in progress. Classrooms were maybe average. The mess food was depressing. The canteen was good. Sports for our batch were out of reach.
Faculty: It depended on which faculty took the subject. That, in turn, totally depended on whether you would pass or not. The curriculum was affiliated with JNTUK, and many subjects were relevant. If you studied properly, you could easily manage to pass. The exams were not that tough. The quality of many faculty members was poor. Apart from some, only a few were exceptional.
Other: It was a free seat through EAMCET. The best thing was the curiosity to learn programming. Fest management and extracurricular activities needed to be increased instead of only studying. There were very few fests and extracurricular activities. They were only technically oriented.
