The glory of GEC, the future-making college.
Placements: About 60% of people will be placed in my electronics and communication engineering courses as per the requirement. The highest package is 33 lacs and the lowest is 6 lacs, as the average package offered in my course is 8–9 LPA. The companies that are recruiting our students are Deloitte, Tata, and some others. About 90% of the students got internships from various companies, which are interlinked with Internshala. The top role offered in my course is telecom engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure looks very good, full of greenery and footpaths. Coming to the facilities, there are classrooms with good ventilation and fans and as for the labs, every lab contains air conditioning for the comfort of the students and library contains various types of books, including our subjects and the trend going on. The quality of the hostels is very good, with good wardens and cleaners. Coming to the food, it is okayish when it comes to nonveg; they are excellent and snacks are good. canteen is a good thing in our college because it gives food at low cost along with good quality and our medical teacher is a good one with some useful skills. There are so many grounds for each sport like cricket, basketball, kho-kho, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful during examinations and clarify our doubts at any time. They don't hesitate to clarify our doubts, even in their off time. They are qualified and exceptional teachers and their knowledge goes beyond their degree. They, too, learn more and more to teach us more. Yes, my course is curriculum-relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The semesters are not too difficult for a below-average student. We just need to focus on the good part of passing out. The pass percentage is about 82%.
Other: I chose this course because of its availability in the industry and because I saw the placement range of this course in my college, which is very good. The best thing about my course is the stability of the job, as we are the backbone of our college. I think we need to improve a little bit of coding in our course. Events are well maintained in my college, as we enjoy each and every bit of our time during events and fests.

It is good to join if you want good placements.
Placements: About 60% would be placed in our course, as per what I know. The highest package is 22 LPA and the average package would be around 4 LPA. The lowest package would be 2 LPA. Companies like Amazon and Accenture are usually the big recruiting companies. Web development is the best-offered course.
Infrastructure: The hostel is okay. The food is average and a Wi-Fi facility is available. Classrooms are neat and clean. There is a good library where you can find a large number of books. Canteen food is not so good. Sports and games are played at the college. There is a lot of ground.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is good. They have good experience. Some teachers are strict and friendly. They are done Ph.D.s in Masters. The course. The curriculum is good and relevant. The semester exams are not so tough. The pass percentage would be around 60% .
Other: They chose this course because it has both electronics and computer basics.

It is the best place to explore new things.
Placements: I am from EEE, and I have been placed in TCS with 3.3 LPA. Even though I am from a non-IT background, I have secured a position in a big-name company, solely because my college provided specific training to crack the exams. Not only me, but many others from our college have also secured placements in big companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. The classrooms are spacious and of high quality. The labs are well-equipped and updated. As I am from the EEE branch, the labs are top-notch, meeting industry standards. The hostels are excellent, and the food in the mess is very tasty. The canteen food is also good but a little bit expensive.
Faculty: Being from the EEE branch, the syllabus is challenging, and time is short. If we had enough time for labs, we might find the semester exams easier. However, the good thing is that they provide good materials and references for reading. The exams are a little bit difficult, but if you are proficient in labs, you can pass them.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) - Batch of 2024
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good college and would be great with a little tweaks .
Placements: In my course, which is B.Tech in data science, around 60% of the students got placed in various companies. The highest package is 9.9 lakhs from Invesco, while the lowest is 3.6 lakhs from TCS, and the average package is around 5 lakhs. The top recruiting companies were Accenture and TCS, which combined took around 16–18 people. Around 5-8 people got internships in companies like RealPage, Merilytics, etc., which is around 16% of the total number of students placed. The top roles are data engineer and software development engineer.
Infrastructure: Labs and classes were decent and the new computer centres contain updated software and laptops. The library is very big and contains all types of books and students have access to it anytime during college hours. The college consists of WiFi, but most of the students use their own mobile network. GRIET doesn't have a college hostel, which is a major setback for many but there are some private hostels or P.G.s, that are quite affordable and contain all the facilities. GRIET also has a huge field on which cricket and football games are conducted.
Faculty: Some of the teachers were really helpful throughout your B.Tech. career, even if they did not teach you any particular subject in that semester. Most of the faculty were qualified and professional regarding their subjects. However, some faculty were not up to par, and they teach non-core subjects so it doesn't matter a lot. The curriculum is accurate for the situation and passing exams is not too easy or too hard. We have an average pass percentage of 90–95%.
Other: The best thing about my course was that it was booming in the near future and learning it can be very helpful in the future. The only thing I wish that could be improved is to provide equal opportunities for both the CSE and Data Science branches. The fests, Events and crowds were good.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere of the college .
Placements: In our college, each classroom accommodates 60 students, with a significant number of students enrolled. The maximum salary package available is 6 LPA, while the minimum is 2.5 LPA. Certain students secure positions in top companies, with varied roles. Our college is particularly beneficial for newcomers.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at the college includes a library exclusive to female students, no Wi-Fi on campus, available games, absence of hostel facilities, no canteen, but there is a small ground provided. So the college is very good college and teachers are very good.
Faculty: Instructors are supportive, well-trained, and well-informed. The standard of teaching at our college is high. The semester examinations are effective, resulting in an 80% pass rate. This institution is a suitable choice for freshmen looking to enroll in a degree programme.
