JNTUK Admission Process 2025
Candidates willing to study at JNTUK must complete the admission procedure as per the University's admission guidelines. It involves an application process, shortlisting of students, the release of merit list, counselling, and seat allotment. Below are the details of each stage of the admission process:
Step 1: JNTUK Application Process
To take admission to the courses offered at JNTUH, candidates are required to visit the official website of the respective national-level entrance exam conducting bodies. They need to fill out the application form in online mode.
- BTech/ BPharm aspiring candidates can apply for the programme on the official website of TS EAMCET.
- For the MTech/ MSc programme, the candidates are required to register on the official website of TS PGECET.
- For the MBA program, candidates must register on the official website of AP ICET or TSCIET.
For the remaining programme candidates are required to apply directly from the official website of JNTUK.
Step 2: JNTUK Shortlisting of Students & Release of Merit List
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) shortlists candidates based on their scores in the respective accepted entrance exams, such as TS EAMCET, GATE, GPAT, etc. The state-level exam conducting bodies, such as TS ICET, release course-wise merit lists for MBA and MCA courses, whereas the university itself releases a merit list for courses based on merit or national-level exams.
Step 3: JNTUK Counselling
Once the merit list is released, eligible students are invited for counselling rounds.
