A decent college with good faculty members and above average placements.

Placements: Most of the students are not getting better placements, but somehow there are placement drives in the college. Some students are getting placements in drive campaigns like Infosys, TCS, Tata, and some other small startup companies. Also, some students get internships. 12 LPA is the highest salary package in the college. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: In our college, the classrooms are very good, and the laboratories are good for our department. All the main facilities are excellent. Students are friendly, and the food served in the canteen is very good. Signals are very low. Wi-Fi is not accessible to all students.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are excellent. They are very skilled and helpful to students. The curriculum is outdated in my opinion, and the semester exams are difficult. But the knowledge you gain in the college is very helpful. The pass percentage is above 70%.

Other: I have an interest in electrical circuits. That's why I chose this course. The best thing is learning about motors and machines practically, and I think they have to improve practical knowledge. Events organised are better, and other cultural events are also conducted.

I am very satisfied with faculty members, and the placements are impressive.

Placements: Around 80% to 90% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is around 80 LPA. The average package is around 12 LPA. The lowest package is around 5–6 LPA. All the recruiting companies are good. Students get internship opportunities in their second year. One of the top roles offered is Electrical Engineer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There is proper Wi-Fi, labs, and a library available for students. The library has enough space for students to study. The hostels are properly maintained and clean. The mess and canteen facilities are also available on the campus. There is an Apollo medical hospital on the campus, along with many sports facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable in the electrical field. Their teaching is also amazing, and we understand the courses and concepts very well. They also help us understand the exam paper pattern and important concepts, which is very helpful.

Other: I joined through the convenor quota. I chose this course because I thought I was good at the electrical field and was very interested in industrial automation and related subjects. Therefore, I chose this course. Many events and fests are conducted by our college, and we can participate in them.

Dissatisfied from the campus life and the college ( MRCE).

Placements: I am currently only a fresher who joined in 2026. There are more than 900 members like me. In 2026, around 90 people got around 4 LPA. I'm not sure of the highest package, but it may be around 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are, I would say, good as they have green boards. Some of the sections of my department have smart boards ( panel ), and some CSD or CSM too. But we don't have them. I am a day scholar, but I have asked my friends, and they said the hostel is not good. The food served is bad.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are teaching good and course is also good. Some subjects are easy and some are not. Teaching quality is also good, and the course is still relevant. As it is CSE, it is the core foundation branch for software, but you would need to learn some skills to be selected for on-campus placements. The college is providing CRT training sessions in 1st year only, in which they are teaching the C language.

Other: Fests are literally not existing, maybe they would be twice in a year.

Placements: On our campus, nearly 109 students are selected by TCS this year. The recruiting companies include Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant. This year, 39 students are selected by Infosys. The highest package so far is 40 LPA. We have a one-month internship at the beginning of the third year and a full-semester internship in the final year.

Infrastructure: We have labs available during lab hours, and LAN connections are available only in labs. We have a vast library with a variety of books. GMR Care Hospital is near our college. The hostel is not worth the money, but it is not bad. However, the network is slow on our campus.

Faculty: The lecturers teach only the knowledge required to pass exams. Practical knowledge is provided, but it is not fully up to the mark for placements. The course curriculum is not very up to date with current technologies. The semester exams are not very tough, but we need to study hard to get good marks.

Placements: Companies come to our college for placements, but many students do not receive call letters. The average package at our college is 6 LPA. Internships are offered to students who are active, participate in various events, study well, and interact with the faculty.

Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is not that good. Facilities are not worth the hostel fee. Wi-Fi is provided in the hostels, but the mess food is not very good. People from nearby Visakhapatnam may find the food more suitable. Labs are okay and could be better. The classrooms are also okay, but they are not very comfortable. The library is good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful when we interact with them personally. We can learn a lot through these interactions. Whenever we ask questions or have doubts, faculty is ready to explain them. Even if they do not know something, they are willing to learn & explain it to us. The course is industry-relevant and good.

Other: I am very interested in electronics and how it works, so I chose this course. Events are limited if we do not participate in any clubs. Once we join clubs, we can enjoy more activities and events.
