Jiwaji University BA application fees of INR 1,000 (INR 800 for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates) together with INR 200 registration per subject has to be paid through MP Online. For every course, the registration fee of INR 200 per course/ subject has to be paid along with the application fees of INR 1,000 at the kiosk centre.

Candidates who get admission to the BA or BA (Hons) programme offered at Jiwaji University Gwalior must pay the Jiwaji University BA fees which range between INR 9,000 and INR 94,800 depending upon the institution selected by candidates. Apart from that, the application fees of INR 1,000 (INR 800 for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) together with INR 200 registration per subject has to be paid through MP Online. Candidates who get admission to the BA or BA (Hons) programmes offered at Jiwaji University are required to pay the Jiwaji University BA tuition fees ranging between INR 9,000 and INR 94,800. Tuition fee depends on the specialisation chosen by students. Hostel facilities are also provided by the university that is charged separately. Students should also consider admission fees, application fees and examination form fees in the total fee budget.

Candidates who get admission to the BA or BA (Hons) programme offered at Jiwaji University are required to submit the following documents during the time of admission as mentioned below: 

• Copy of counselling registration form
• Marksheets of Class 10 and, Class 12
• Caste Certificate
• the latest income certificate for reserved category candidates
• Migration certificate
• Transfer certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• Income certificate for reserved category candidates
• MP domicile certificate
• EWS certificate
• PwD certificate
• Jammu and Kashmir Migrant certificate
• Affidavit for gap in studies
• Two recent passport-size photographs

If any candidate leaves the programme or desires to cancel his/ her admission before the last date of admission,  the fee will be returned to him/her after deducting 10% of the admission fees deposited. Only caution money will be refunded if a candidate leaves the programme after the said date.
In case where candidates have given an undertaking to the effect that their admission may be cancelled in case they fail to produce their result of qualifying exam with required eligibility percentages by the last date of admission, they will not get any refund of admission fee except the caution money.

The mode of admissions at the Jiwaji University varies from one course to another. Jiwaji University admission is both merit and entrance-based. Candidates seeking direct admission to the university could apply for courses such as MA and MSc, in which the admission is given on the basis of the merit of the last qualifying exam. However, candidates wiling to take admission to other courses such as BTech and BA (Hons) must appear for the JEE Main and CUET UG entrance exams, respectively.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced
