For the admission to majority of courses at Jiwaji Gwalior, candidates are required to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in the previous qualification exams. For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category, a relaxation of 5% will be provided. For courses such as BE, MCA, MBA, DPharma, BPharma and others, the University considers valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main and DTE, Bhopal and others, varying course to course.

The mode of admissions at the Jiwaji University varies from one course to another. Jiwaji University admission is both merit and entrance-based. Candidates seeking direct admission to the university could apply for courses such as MA and MSc, in which the admission is given on the basis of the merit of the last qualifying exam. However, candidates wiling to take admission to other courses such as BTech and BA (Hons) must appear for the JEE Main and CUET UG entrance exams, respectively.

Jiwaji University BCom admission 2024 is merit-based. Given below is the Jiwaji University BCom admission process:

STEP 1: Application Process

Candidates seeking admission to the programme are required to visit the official website of the University, fill in the details, upload the documents and, pay the application fee of INR 1,000 (INR 800 for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) together with INR 200 registration per subject through MP Online. For every course, the registration fee of INR 200 per course/ subject has to be paid along with the application fees of INR 1,000 at the kiosk centre.

Candidates should go through the advertisement published in newspapers or University websites followed by which, they must fill up the form or can go to the kiosks of MP Online and ask them for submission of admission form.

Candidates have to take the printouts of the admission form cum receipt of payment and a Proctorial Board form and are required to submit the printout of the application.

STEP 2: Selection Criteria

After the last date of filling out the admission form, the list of provisionally admitted candidates will be displayed on the University's website. All such provisionally admitted candidates have to deposit the prescribed Jiwaji University BCom fees.

The Jiwaji University BE Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission in the form of opening and closing ranks. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 158341 to 337310, where B.E. in Computer Science Engineering was the highly sought-after course. 

The cutoff in 2024, for the same course and for the same category was 292855, and in 2023, it was 136969. According to this cutoff data, we can say that the competition has been fluctuating in the past 3 years. Jiwaji University offers admission to various UG and PG level programmes on the basis of merit and valid scores of accepted entrance exams. The University considers a minimum aggregate of 45% to 60% in Class 12 and/or 50% to 55% in graduation, depending on the level of the course candidate must have opted for. In addition to this, for majority of courses, candidates must secure valid scores in CUET UG/PG, CMAT, NEET PG, GATE or other valid entrance exams.

Gwalior University, through various schools of study, colleges, and 29 departments, offers UG, PG, Diploma, and various other courses to students. The 419 affiliated colleges provide 100 courses across the Commerce, Science, Law, and various other streams. Students can avail admission to Jiwaji University Gwalior distance education with the basic eligibility criteria. The University is popular for its flagship MBA and BTech courses.
