The mode of admissions at the Jiwaji University varies from one course to another. Jiwaji University admission is both merit and entrance-based. Candidates seeking direct admission to the university could apply for courses such as MA and MSc, in which the admission is given on the basis of the merit of the last qualifying exam. However, candidates wiling to take admission to other courses such as BTech and BA (Hons) must appear for the JEE Main and CUET UG entrance exams, respectively.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. Jiwaji University accepts the rank and scores of CMAT, which was conducted in the last week of January.

As per the placement stats of 2024, the UG 3-year programme graduates received a median package of worth INR 2.40 LPA, whereas, UG 4-year graduates received a median package of INR 2.80 LPA. In comparison to 2023 placement stats, wherein, the median package offered during Jiwaji University BPharm and MPharm placements 2023 stood at INR 1.45 LPA and INR 1.9 LPA. Similarly,  the median package offered during Jiwaji University UG 4-year and PG 2-year placements 2022 stood at INR 2.4 LPA and INR 3 LPA

Jiwaji University BCom admission 2024 is merit-based. Given below is the Jiwaji University BCom admission process:

STEP 1: Application Process

Candidates seeking admission to the programme are required to visit the official website of the University, fill in the details, upload the documents and, pay the application fee of INR 1,000 (INR 800 for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) together with INR 200 registration per subject through MP Online. For every course, the registration fee of INR 200 per course/ subject has to be paid along with the application fees of INR 1,000 at the kiosk centre.

Candidates should go through the advertisement published in newspapers or University websites followed by which, they must fill up the form or can go to the kiosks of MP Online and ask them for submission of admission form.

Candidates have to take the printouts of the admission form cum receipt of payment and a Proctorial Board form and are required to submit the printout of the application.

STEP 2: Selection Criteria

After the last date of filling out the admission form, the list of provisionally admitted candidates will be displayed on the University's website. All such provisionally admitted candidates have to deposit the prescribed Jiwaji University BCom fees.
