*Specified subjects include three subjects chosen by the applicant and English. However, a subject with internal marks of 50% or even higher will not be considered for admissions.
Scholarships for Master of Technology (MTech) Students
Scholarships are available for full-time MTech students. For GATE Qualified Students, it is INR 12,400 per month and for Non-GATE Students, TA Ship for deserving candidates.
Other Scholarships
In addition to these scholarships, there are various other scholarships available for students. Some of them are mentioned below:
- Special Circumstances: Wards of staff members of JKLU or JKO Schools or any entity of JKO will be granted a scholarship of 15% for the entire duration of the course
- Sibling/Alumni: A 20% scholarship will be granted to the applicants who are siblings of JK Lakshmipat University students or alumni, or alumni pursuing a second degree
- Single Girl Child: Single girl children with no siblings are eligible for a 10% scholarship
- Special Category: A 10% scholarship will be granted to applicants who are wards of defense personnel, differently abled students, SC/ST, students from the Northeast, Union Territories, and also students from JKO schools
- Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular: A special committee will check, evaluate, and award scholarships on a case-by-case basis to various applicants showcasing exceptional performance in sports or other areas

The total first-year fee for JK Lakshmipat University four-year BTech course is INR 2.75 lakh. This fee includes an admission fee of INR 5,000 and a refundable caution deposit of INR 10,000.
