Everything is just awesome.
Placements: Almost all the students clear the postgraduate exams and pass. Many students are studying in different countries like USA, UK, Australia, Germany, Russia etc. Students who are passed out from our college are great surgeons, physicians and excel in every aspect of their lives.
Infrastructure: All facilities including hostel, mess, playgrounds, swimming pools, gyms , libraries etc. are available. Canteens and mess are normal not that good but yes better than many other colleges. The college fest is one of the biggest fest of south india.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is really good. Curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry ready. Exams are difficult but very relevant. Pass percentage of the college is good enough and makes really good postgraduate results too.

Review of JIPMER Puducherry - Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research.
Placements: There are only 75 seats in our batch. The top recruiting hospitals are AIIMS and other famous hospitals. Internships are also offered in our course. The top roles offered are doctor, nurse, and other medical personnel.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, laboratory, classrooms, and library are very good. All facilities are available in this college. Hostels are good. The mess is not good. The food quality is not better though several messes were changed. Classrooms are air-conditioned.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Few of them are not good. The course curriculum is followed as per INC guidelines. Semester exams are conducted as per schedule so it becomes tough to write full portions at the last.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Spandan is the best event in this college. The experience with JIPMER is very good except for the food.

Our college has brilliant faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: There are no placements after MBBS as in other courses. After completing studies, our college provides internships for a year with a stipend of Rs. 25,000 per month. Interns are posted in various departments while duration of a year. After that, you can apply to practice as a doctor in a hospital. Many students choose to go for higher studies like MD or MS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Sports facilities are good. Our college has a playground and other materials are available. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel complex. The library is very good and sophisticated. Labs are good. The hostel rooms are good and clean. All necessities are available in the hostel. Single occupancy rooms are available from the 3rd year, which includes a cupboard, table, chair, fan, and light. The hostel rooms and restrooms are clean.
Faculty: Teachers are good and approachable. The course curriculum is the same as all over India. The study pressure is more. Clinical postings and labs are very useful, but there are a lot of records to complete. Teachers provide enough industrial exposure to students.

One of the best medical colleges of India.
Placements: There is one year of internship at the end of final year. JIPMER offers the highest stipend for a medical intern which is 23,500/- per month. The interns are posted in various departments for a duration of one year. There are no proper placements and company visits in medical field, once you complete your internship, you can either start practicing in a hospital or opt for MD or MS.
Infrastructure: The social life, in my opinion is the best here. The city of Pondicherry is a cute little place, with so many attractions to offer. Our campus offers a lot of benefits and the student council organizes time to time music jam sessions, dance club sessions and dramatics training. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, cricket ground etc. Hostel rooms are good and clean with all the necessities. Singles rooms are available from 3rd year, which will have a cupboard, table, chair, fan and light. Rooms and restrooms are clean.
Faculty: Faculty here are high qualified, with many of them being JIPMERites themselves. Every department has a minimum of 5 faculty. Clinical departments have even more number of faculty. They have to treat patients in wards, OPD and take classes for UG and sometimes for PG students. They also mentor a lot of students with their research. Medical curriculum js almost same all over India. But, there is a pressure of studying in an Institute of National Importance. Clinical postings and labs are very useful, but there is a lot of records to do, which I feel is of no use.

This college is average if you are a study person.
Placements: I am studying MBBS which is a very interesting course. We don't have placements as we do internships and leave out of the college but during the internship, they pay us stipend of approximately Rs.25000 - Rs.30000 per month which is a good amount for interns. The college is very good.
Infrastructure: We don't have superb facilities as our college is still under construction. We have a Wi-Fi facility around the campus but we don't have a ground to play. We don't have a separate hospital it is a shame for a central university like JIPMER. The food served is below average. At night, only tiffin is served and rice is not provided.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very good in our college. They are well qualified and graduated. Exams are held in a good manner where there is no chance of copying. Labs are very good and going on well. The hospital is not yet ready. It nearly takes 3-4 years for the construction of the hospital.
Other: We need to have more events and grounds for sports. Extracurricular activities are very less in this college. It needs to be changed.
